It's our 2nd time here but our first in room 1. If you want a real treat definitely book this room. It has a log burner, a whirlpool bath & hot tub outside. The owners are lovely people and the food is amazing. We love everything about the place & it is situated in a lovely little place surrounded by gorgeous scenery. Blackstone Edge which was part of the Tour de France route is on the doorstep & is a lovely walk for those of you who appreciate fantastic views. We will definitely be back again.
Had a wonderful evening yesterday. The staff were excellent from the second we arrived and throughout the night. Attentive without being OTT. As usual we ordered too much but wanted tastes of different parts of the menu. We ordered 3 off the specials board. Black pudding served on bruschetta with soft onions... wonderful. Sea bass fillets with king prawns and spicy fries - awesome, the fish perfectly cooked and the king prawns so sweet. We also ordered patatas bravas, bread and olives, and the camembert baked with garlic and herbs... on reflection too much. I wanted a salad too and the waiter made me a greek salad without cheese and it was just perfect, He placed all of the food we couldn't manage to eat into cartons in a doggy bag for us to bring home - so that's lunch sorted for today! Thank you all again for such a wonderful evening. We will definitely be back again.

Stayed here for one night, room was extremely spacious and full of character as well as being clean. We dined for dinner down stairs and the food was great, it was very busy so waited longer than we would’ve liked. Breakfast was included which was a bonus so top marks for that, all in all a pleasant stay. However, the toilet in our room was broken when we arrived with parts of it removed. Not sure the cleaner would’ve approved when she had to come and clean the room the following morning! 😑😂
What a place . The food is 1st class, the staff can not do enough for you. The rooms are fabulous. Brilliant little stay in a Lancashire backwater.
This is the second time we've been this Month, both times the food and service have been absolutely superb! Always a warm friendly welcome, very generous portions (for Tapas they are VERY generous!), and everything cooked to perfection, the slow cooked beef rib is a particular highlight.
Can't recommend highly enough, if you've not been then you're missing out on one of the gems of Littleborough!

This was a lovely place to eat and they even let our dog sit outside with us. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable and we should have listened to them rather than ordering too much. If you go then try the prawns, they are delightful. I think there was too much sauce with the beef ribs but that's personal taste. Overall this was excellent and we'll definitely go back again.
One of the best meals ever.. update 1st April 2022 - still the same, best meal within miles, great service. Ps. They've started doing breakfast now on a Sunday too!
Now I have found another gem . Great service the staff are great ordered a lot but perfectly spaced between several courses none rushed . Food tasty and plentiful very enjoyable will be back
Beautiful traditional Tapas restaurant, run by lovely people. We had a lovely evening, and only left because we physically could not eat any more. Excellent range of wine, and spirits, the pinnacle being Czech Budvar side pour beer in authentic glassware. The building is an amazing old stone house with an amazing fireplace creating the perfectly ambiance. We will be back!
Heard a few positive comments about this place so thought we'd give it a try. We were not disappointed!
Got a table at short notice. Decent variety of tapas options includung vegetarian choices for my partner and everything we chose was absolutely awesome.
Friendly staff and a chilled out atmosphere.

OMG! What a gem. Visited tonight and the food was so good. Only a few times I had such good food in England. Wine wasn't bad either ha. Definitely going again. Met the chef afterwards and had a chat and he was so nice as well asexplaining all different elements on the dishes. Massively impressed.
