Great place to visit. It's steep going down through the village but its worth it
Good place to stop for a coffee fight on the sea wall. Plenty if history. The loft is let it by the national Trust and is a great base for exploring the area in just to relax and enjoy the view
Popped in while waiting for tide to go out a bit. Had a quick look around upstairs then enjoyed some very excellent pasties and coffee in the cafe downstairs. The small interpretive centre upstairs was interesting and informative. The cafe got very busy shortly after we arrived. There were binocular
Nice cake and coffee and friendly staff. Even binoculars by the small windows for you to look out to sea. National Trust so you can’t go wrong and if you are a member scan your card so they may get extra funding.
Lovely little cafe . Really nice cakes and scones. Dog friendly which is a bonus. The 2 young ladies serving were quick, efficient and very friendly. Would definitely come again
This is a beautiful place to visit. Its a hotel now but the location is stunning. Its a 15-20 minute walk from the top of Robin hoods bay. Alternatively it can be seen immediately on entering the village off the Cleveland way, as I did. Lots of shops and plenty of bars and restaurants to. A regular
The town itself is decent but not superb, however the coastline footpath to Whitby is very lovely to walk through.
Fantastic little place curated entirely by volunteers and offering a greatly needed window into the ways of yesteryear alongside some historical facts about the area.
Interesting, informative and a bit of interaction, but not too much info, they have got it spot on here !!
It will appeal to children too ⚓‼️🐙
Myself and my daughter called in today after being bitten by a dog. The amazing staff helped us clean and dress our wounds and gave us both a cup of tea. I can’t thank them enough!
Handy and informative centre to visit which has a loo upstairs and a shop and café downstairs. There are more public loos in the old lifeboat building just alongside. Sells Northern Bloc ice cream, hot food snacks and cold sandwiches, cakes and more. Pleasant clean café.
A small museum on the top floor while the National Trust runs it's tea room on the ground floor. Small display of fossils is very educational. In the exhibition it explains over the centuries how 200 houses have been lost to the sea due to landslides and huge waves hitting the costal lines in Robinh
