Such a cute, lovely place. The aesthetic is really nice. The view is great and the food is lovely. It was £13 for fish, chips, side and drink which was a great deal and a portion so big I couldn't finish it.

Great fish and chips, I chose the Cod as there is skin on the Haddock which is not my preference

A quick to-go spot, but they have tables to eat inside and outside. We had the fish and chips and shrimp scampi. Both were delicious, but I loved the shrimp. The view from the terrace is absolutely beautiful. The restaurant is on a steep hill, and although they had a few parking spots behind the restaurant, parking is limited. There is a public car park at the top of the hill, I recommend parking there and walking. It's a short walk, and the hill isn't too steep from there.

Absolutely fantastic fish and chips, in a great spot overlooking the sea. We had Fish and Chips x 4 - the fish was delicious, crispy batter and perfectly cooked, tasty fish. Chips were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. Lovely peas, and about the best curry sauce. Fish and chips doesn't get much better than this! The restaurant is clean and modern with nice local artwork, Service was efficient and polite (though not overly warm). They have a digital token queueing system so no long queues at the door. All the family agreed it was about the best Fish and Chips ever!

We went mid week just as they were preparing to close. The server did seem a little tired but managed our indecisiveness well. We paid and were given a pager when our food would be ready and told where salt & viniger could be found. We had a stunning view over the bay eating delicious fish and chips.

Excellent service and quality fish and chips. I doubt anyone would be disappointed visiting here. Cost wise is open for debate like most places, I was happy enough (£25 for large fish and chips, chips and cheese pattie, curry sauce, mushy peas and 2 coke's) but if you're a family I could understand people feeling its on the high side. I would definitely recommend and go again.

A lovely chippy offering both cod and haddock for your fish and chips with a great view of the bay. The shop itself is nicely maintained with the typical shiny metallic counter. The food is served in a box and a box deal is available. The cod was well battered and moist, the chips were nice and fluffy on the inside and survived vinegar well (and probably just enough portion wise for most people). The mushy peas were really tasty too. A lovely meal to have after a walk back from the beach.

Very nice establishment, friendly and reasonably priced for a small resort. Fish, chips and peas were spot on. Plenty of seating both inside and out. The view from outside was breathtaking. Friendly little black birds looked at you with wanting eyes and would eat out of your hand if you let them. Seagulls seamed to stay away. Overall a pleasant experience for the hungry, well recommended.

Really lovely fish and chips, and the staff are very kind and helpful. The outdoor seating is spacious, and the views are really lovely over the sea. The fish was cooked to order, so super fresh with crispy batter. Chips were great, and their homemade tartare sauce was delicious too. The portion of chips with the box meal for one was generous (we shared ours in fact) so that's an extra point in their favour!

Tasty chips but small portion sizes for the money. £2.50 for chips and it's so little it's not a proper meal. Staff are friendly and the gelato is delicious. Views are perfect.

Visited this place on a regular basis and never disappointed always decent food and drink, on this occasion we both had fish and chips with carton of gravy. A Latte and tea served in disposable cups and the food in trays . The fish was nicely cooked and fresh as usual .Room to sit inside or out and is popular with walkers with dogs outside and old folks like us who like to sit inside and look at the beautiful view from the windows. Prices are reasonable and the staff friendly and very efficient. Well worth the visit to Robin Hoods Bay anytime 😊

A fantastic little gem situated on the hilltop leading into Robin Hood’s Bay centre. It’s tiny but cosy, inside and out. You’re lucky to find a spot to sit because it’s so popular. The views are phenomenal and the food served is glorious! We loved every minute out in the sunshine eating our fish and chips. It’s arguably the best fish and chips I’ve ever had.
