We had a wonderful birthday meal here on a perfect evening. Everything about it was delightful, the food, the ambiance and the drink! I was delighted find a range of non-alcoholic wines - including a Muscat I didn't know existed and I was told the Bellini was great too.

Very nice pub for a Sunday dinner. Staff were extremely attentive and we didn’t have to wait too much time in between courses. The gravy was excellent and the meat was cooked to perfection. Allowed to take home a brownie, happy happy.
If we were local, which were not, we would eat here every Sunday.
The room i slept in was very cozy and comfortable and felt at home and the staff were very polite and approachable.

Under new management and already 10X better as a village pub. Better menu, better chef and better layout of seating, plus more seating out the front to enjoy the village 😊
