We visited here after taking a look around Lanes Open Farm. For drinks we decided to go for a hot chocolate & a Mocha, which were served with digestive biscuits, which is a first for me, as most places tend to supply the lotus biscuits. For food we went for a sage & onion sausage roll, warmed up of course, in which our daughter loved! We also had a banoffee waffle, & a Poppys Unicorn Sundae. Both desserts we were perfect, & better than expected.

An all round perfect little eatery. We love it here. Great choice, value and staff. No issues on any occasion we have been and taken our Grandson to the neighbouring family run farm, fed the lvestock and then had refreshments here. James and his team are fab!!

A fairly priced coffee shop with good staff and a nice atmosphere. The menu is wide and varied, and the portions are very good, with great quality food. No hint of pretentiousness unlike several other cafe type places in Erewash. A real treat to be able to stroll around and see/feed the animals on the farm afterwards. Lovely place.

Took a chance on having lunch here while our daughter & her boyfriend had a bird if prey experience next door. Wow, were we glad we did!! Excellent home made food (especially the cakes) & the staff were lovely & attentive. Took some of the cakes home for the family. They went down very well. We will definitely return.

Charming coffee shop with tasty food. It is situated on a small farm where kids can feed the animals. There's also a small gift shop, so plan on spending 2 or 3 hours there if you have kids. The staff are friendly and the service is prompt. The food is great quality and priced very reasonably. There's also a wide choice. The dining area is split into two so there's a room specifically for kids. The barn conversion setting is charming. Overall, great people, tasty food, lovely place and now I've found it, I keep going back!

Gorgeous little coffee shop absolutely designed for kids and parents. Fresh scones from the oven when we got there in the morning, which were lovely, and the coffee was great. The food looked good too we will definitely be going again.

Fabulous find just off the M1. Wholesome chicken casserole with a crusty cob was tasty. Then a special treat of nutella and rolo cookie pie, absolutely perfect. Would definitely venture away from motorway services again

Lovely home cooked food, affordable prices, my kids love going when we go to feed the animals but I have also been known to venture here kid free to enjoy a cup of tea and a price of James home made cakes. So good and well worth the visit x

Found this place by accident and can't fault it. Extensive menu with plenty of variety, and pleasant smiley staff. Only had coffee and cake, and both were delicious. Definitely recommend a visit.
