Had a great meal last night. Both the chicken roulade and local sausages with cheesy mash were generous portions and served piping hot. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Brewpoint beers were well kept. Will certainly be back!
My friend and I visited here last Saturday lunchtime after dropping off dog supplies to friends that run a rescue. The food was nice and fresh and staff friendly but one criticism, please don't put dressing on the side salad. It wasn't busy at all and the food set us up for our 2 hour journey home.
Immediately welcomed when we walked in the door. We could choose where to sit. Staff attentive knew what they were doing seem to be trained well. Drinks and food came quickly fresh and flavoursome. The best halloumi in a sourdough bun I have tasted it was lovely with the sweet chilli sauce with oni
First time we have been here, excellent service and the meal also, we had the Chicken Roulade, which was recommended . I spoke to a couple who had just finished their main and sweet with the question of recommendation , without hesitation they both said yes, nice surroundings, there is the facility
Went for a 5 mile dog walk, then stopped in the pub for lunch. Lovely place, dog friendly, nice food. All good. It's really nice. Will be going back again.
Excellent, what more can I say. Staff are so lovely and welcoming, food is delicious and cooked to perfection. The pub is lovely and clean, and dogs are allowed in the bar. What more could anyone ask from a pub. We will definitely be going back real soon.

New ownership has meant this pub is a lot more friendly and welcoming than before. Staff friendly and happy to help. Food was hot, fresh and served quickly. We will 100% return and now use our local pub!

A friendly welcome and separate vegan menu with several options plus an impressive range of chilli sauces with escalating levels of heat. I’ve stopped a few times now on one of my cycle training routes and can highly recommend.
A great Vegan menu , we were spoilt for choice for a change ..we chose the V chilly , V sausage and mash and V burger (which was divine, a lentil burger, and made a welcome change from the usual 'meat ' alternative) will share in local vegan groups .
Lovely spur of the moment pub lunch in the Bedfordshire countryside. The food was delicious and the service excellent. A special mention must go to our waiter Caelum who made us feel very welcome.
A nice stop for our lunchtime meal, very pleasant staff and helpful. We sat inside, but next time will take advantage of outside space.
