Fresh tasty food! As someone who loves a good Indian and has probably eaten from most Indians near and far, I have to say the food delivered tonight was by far one of the freshest I’ve enjoyed! The chips were fresh (but not cooked too quickly by the taste), the chicken was tasty and tender. The curry was simply delicious - naan was fresh, none of the food tasted reheated or unfresh in anyway. Would happily order again if the food continued to be as fresh as it was this evening. Delicious!
We have been ordering for a couple of months now and the quality of food is consistently excellent. Staff are really friendly helpful and accommodating when I requested something that isn't actually on the menu! There are a lot of takeaways in Risca but this is in our opinion the best

last night...
I wanted something a bit different from the usual offering and was suggested a 'murgi saag achar' (chicken green tikka) chicken tikka, chilli, onions, garlic, pickle, spinach with a side of garlic rice and Bombay aloo.
The first thing I'd like to compliment The Bayleaf on, is the staff are so friendly and inviting when you arrive and the kitchen is open plan and spotless... In between orders the chefs are cleaning down the surfaces and tidying things away to an impressive pace.
The food is cooked perfectly, fresh vegetables, expertly spiced, tender tandoori chicken and fluffy garlic rice, all served piping hot!
This is most definitely one of my favourite go to Currie house's at the moment 🙌

Recommended and reviews prompted us to try and very glad we did. Had chef special, very tasty, and my wife's usual was really impressed with taste and quality and worth every star I gave. Highly recommend and will definitely use again. Great food .

Wow! I live in Newport and only half looked at the address so thought it was in Newport, the food would not have come any quicker if it had been, super fast delivery.
The food, I ordered mushroom rice this was exquisite and the smell hit me straight away it was fragrant and fresh, the curry was a beef boona and this was tender and fresh to taste meaning fresh spice and coriander absolutely beautiful, condiments were fine salad fresh poppadoms fresh and keema naan fresh and tasty, in short there was nothing I did not like about this meal it topped most of Newport's curry houses hands down!.

I’ve had bayleaf many times and it’s always been excellent. Tried the Lamb Naga last night and it was amazing, highly recommend Bayleaf, can’t go wrong!

First time ordering today. The honey chicken was delicious, as were the rice,chips and naan bread. Everything was hot and safely packed. Will definitely order again and recommend to family and friends.
Wow stunning Indian food. My husband and I ordered from here for the first time tonight, and the food was stunning and was delivered before the time we were given. This is the best Indian I've tasted in the area for a long long time. Highly recommend. Will 100% be ordering from here again.
