Great pub, fantastic atmosphere, decent selection of lagers and real ales. Live sport and good snacks. Very friendly staff

Cracking pub, in the heart of Ripponden. Two distinct bars on separate floors: one floor for sports on TV and the other for drinks and conversations, nice set up. Good choice of drinks and reasonably priced. Friendly staff too. If there was hot food available it would be an excellent addition. Good place to watch the match or enjoy some nice drinks though. There is also an outdoor drinking patio out the back too but you'll need to be able to handle a good few stairs.
