My lovely local pub . Never had a bad meal ever . Fab food , Fab staff just love it . Defo recommend
Nice friendly staff, delicious food, we had the Sunday Roast, lamb and Turkey both served with the usual side of vegs Roasties and Yorkshire Pudding. It was a fine warm day so eating outside on the beer garden was a bonus. We definitely recommended to anyone. We well return.

Called in yesterday for a Sunday roast beef sandwich, the amount of beef was generous, chips, gravy and a good side salad, we house sit locally and have had good meals there previously in the last few months.

My ratings are based on my meal. My partner had the burger and wasn't impressed at it's densely dry consistency and thought the bacon on top tasted a little weird. He's a trained chef and thinks burgers should be succulently tender.
I had the prawn and salmon salad which was lovely, it had plenty of ingredients and was very filling. Our friend had the lasagne which she said was very tasty. The wine was a good quality and wasn't overly priced.

Decided to Pop in for Sunday dinner - ordered the Roast beef & didn’t disappoint. It was really lovely. Lots of tender beef, mash, roasties, veg & lovely gravy. Homemade yorkie puds too. Would highly recommend.
Staff lovely too & made to feel very welcome.

We came here the week the new owners have taken over for a family meal. We had an excellent meal, my partner had the beef baguette, my son the chicken nuggets and I had the beehive burger. Really delicious and fresh, could not fault it. The staff were super friendly and hospitable. We will definitely be back for another meal. Our new favourite spot!
We are back again and can i just say the staff are so friendly they are so nice. And the lovely pub has a great atmosphere with good food we will be back soon 5 stars guy's 👍👍

A recent visit here for midweek tea . Lots of good reviews and so we looked forward to trying this pub. Ample parking and a dog friendly pub, which was a bonus. Wheelchair access would be possible. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Sadly the atmosphere was somewhat flat due to lack of people in the pub. A variety of foods to choose from on the menu suitable for both meat eaters and vegetarians.
We ordered 3 bean burger and vegetable lasagne. Both came with approx 8 large cut chips and a small portion of salad.
The bun of the burger was big. 5he burger had a somewhat average taste. The lasagne base tasted strongly of tomatoes and nothing else. Chips were average tasting too and on the soggy side.
I would definitely recommend ordering a 2 or 3 course meal if having the lasagne as main as this meal alone was not filling. The lasagne portion was much smaller than I have experienced anywhere else.
Perhaps at the weekend the atmosphere is more vibrant. Reasonably priced with a large amount of alcoholic choices. Overall not a bad place perhaps just an off day in the kitchen? On a positive note, service was good and fast.
Local pub has new managers. Popped in bank holiday and unfortunately was very quiet. However...service was excellent, it was clean didn't have any food but will definitely be back again to try. Will be fantastic in better weather with the beer garden and the views...Great traditional pub with large parking area. 😀
Wow, I have a lot to say about the beehive pub Inn. First of all, the welcome from the new owners, friendly, polite, and extremely welcoming. Secondly the food is Michelin star quality. Absolutely outstanding flavour, well presented hot and most of all the quality, this food has been made with love. And third, my dog was welcome too, a nice little area within the pub that is pet friendly where we could relax and enjoy a nice cold pint before we set back off on our walk. Good luck in your new venture and we will definitely be returning again soon.
First time in the beehive and it was great. The food was lovely and the staff are very friendly top job guys we will be back for sure 5 stars 👍
We recently visited the Beehive since its been under new management. It was a Sunday afternoon and I must say the meal was gorgeous. The staff were lovely too. We will definitely be going back.
The best pork belly I've ever had!!! Really nice staff. Very good beer. Well worth the trek from Oxford. Great value too. Someone said it was pricey??? Should try getting that quality of food down south for that brass!!! No chance. Loved it 👍
Lovely rurl pub with a large choice on the menu. We had beautiful meals. Dog friendly and fire place that was in full operation when we arrived. Would highly recommend it
After a day in Manchester we decided to drive back the scenic route and try find an independent quality pub for food. We were super lucky to find the Beehive, it’s a beautiful pub in a stunning peaceful rural location, proper homemade food and big portions… my mum would get small adults roast dinner next time. I got the veggie roast dinner and all the Sunday trimmings. The staff were friendly and just good all round people who made us feel super welcome. Such a treat to find such a gem
Hidden Gem, first time visit with friends and the food was great, good selection and friendly staff, everyone was happy after eating and will visit again. Look forward to a Sunday dinner next time.
