Had 6 Munchy boxes with family and friends on Friday, great tasting and really friendly staff, will definitely order again!!, be great if we could do buy 4 get 5th free or some lotaly point system lol � well done taste xx

We tried the new takeaway last Saturday, I called in as I knew they would be busy and despite being told it would be a 40 minute wait for collection the food was ready in 25 minutes and was well worth the wait. They were inundated with orders and the phone was constantly ringing but hats off for dealing with such a busy time, attendingt to customers professionally. We tried a King Prawn Curry with rice/chips and a mixed Egg Foo Young along with some Salt and Pepper Squid. We demolished the lot, all the food was bang on and the King Prawn's in the curry were huge juicy ones unlike some takeaway who use pretty sorry looking things. The Salt and Pepper Squid was absolutely lush and nice and crispy just how it should be. The rice and chips were fresh and not greasy unlike some takeaways and the whole meal was hot so it is well worth ringing ahead and collecting your food. They don't offer delivery yet but I will continue to collect as it was best served piping! My fave part was the egg foo young, really tasty and full of meat!! We have been put off chinese since moving to the area but this place is awesome! Looking forward to trying their Thai Curry next! Thank you for a lovely meal guys!
Fantastic food and great menu - the excellent vegan options meant we could eat Chinese food together as a family. Would definitely recommend !!!

We tried it for the first time last weekend and were not disappointed. Lovely food, very nice staff, easy to use menu and good value for money. So nice not to have to trek for miles out of Ripon anymore for decent Chinese food, we will definitely be ordering again, thank you.

I was so thrilled to see a varied menu which caters for vegans, vegetarians and gluten free. The service was great and oh my goodness the food tastes amazing !! The red thai curry, and black bean sauce along with salt and pepper chips are going to be regular favourites ! Please support this local business , you won't be disappointed x

Used taste for first time after hearing so many different opinions and can honestly say was that the food was great the beef curry was just how it should be and we will be deffo going back at last we have a great Chinese again �
Great takeaway food. Menu really clear on what is gluten free. Great chips. Chicken curry lovely. Gluten free chicken Cantonese and chop suey very very nice. Pat was well happy to be able to have a gluten free chinese at last after going without for many years.

I had the chicken rice box. Very nice food, super healthy and super tasty. The food is not greasy like others.
First time ordering from taste today, travelled about 25 minutes just to try it out, had a large share box salt and pepper and a bbq sauce.
Thoroughly impressed, tasted great, still warm(ish) when we got back, suprising with it been 25 mins .... flavours were bursting at seams.
That bbq sauce is one of the best I've had (looks like gravy though lmao)

Really fantastic vegan food! Super tasty and loads of options. Everything I've tried from here is amazing. It's worth noting that they only accept cash so bear that in mind when collecting orders. Highly recommended!
Enjoyed sesame prawn toasts, satay chicken, sesame honey chicken and veggie pad Thai from here. Collected and the food travelled well. Convenient parking which is free in the evening on the market Square. Beware, they only accept cash but there's a Halifax branch with ATM a few doors up. Mostly served in cardboard containers which seems much more sustainable than the usual plastic boxes.
This was the nicest Chinese takeaway I've ever had!
We live about 6 miles away and used the delivery service. We preordered in the afternoon and the order was correct, delivered on time and still cooked perfectly (Chips still crispy and food hot).
We ordered four mains and there were no complaints! I'd recommended the Honey Sesame Chicken - it was UNREAL!

Starting celebrating Chinese New Year early !
Usual shared starter. Prawn toast chicken satay skewer prawn seaweed and spring roll. Then my main was green thai chicken with rice. Couldn’t eat it all but that’s the great thing about takeaway. It goes in the fridge for tomorrow’s nice easy lunch

It's worth my drive from Harrogate to Ripon and back just for their takeaway.
I'm vegetarian (not vegan), and their Mock Duck and Mock Pork choices are what drew me in.
I've been back several times now, and the food has been consistently scrummy.
If you're vegetarian and like reasonably priced and quickly served Chinese takeaway, this is the best place in a 50 mile radius that I've found thus far.
