We moved here a year ago and have been searching for a great Chinese takeaway and this is it! Customer service is brilliant, friendly they know their customers. The Curry, Chow Main and Sweet and Sour Chicken were all exactly how we like them and the shop was beautifully clean. Will definitely be back.
What a place its the best fish and chips in the whole of Heanor / Codnor . Also try the Chinese it's amazing will be using them from now on thanks for two great meals! Can't wait for our next one.
Beautiful chips, very tasty. The fish is very nice as well. Batter is light and crispy and not soggy. It a lovely chippy.

We moved into the area 18months ago and we just tried them last night 21st January My wife doesnāt like Chinese food so we havenāt had one for a few years BUT
This meal was brilliant we started with a spring roll between us my wife had the sweet and sour chicken balls ( nearly a full chicken!) I had the duck with plum sauce (ditto nearly a duck!) egg fried rice and fried bamboo shoots and water chestnuts sufficient for four peopleā¦..a feast ā¦..the staff are very friendly and my order was ready for me to collect in 15 minutes i paid in cash which is preferred but they have card facilities now Excellent we will have this treat much more often I donāt need to eat until Tuesday
The best take-away by far! Whenever we have guests around and use Kingfisher, they always compliment the food as well which just goes to show how nice it is!
Extremely pleasant staff too.
Beware however that it is cash only, so make sure to have money before collecting your order.
Best chippy and best Chinese takeaway for miles! We've been customers here ever since Simon and Jackie and their family took over in the early 90's. The fish and chips are proper fish and chips cooked in proper chip shop fryers. The Chinese food is amazing - if they are ever closed I'd rather go without than go anywhere else! Jackie and her staff are all lovely, friendly people and they all do a brilliant job!
Had a decent kebab here a few weeks back with my mum. She loved it. So did I. They do some Chinese takeaway too and fish and chips. I had some chips also they were good chips.
Chips and gravy were very very nice. Got a portion of chicken balls which were much bigger in size and quantity than I was expecting. They kindly swapped the sweet and sour sauce for curry sauce free of charge. The lady who served me was extremely nice and polite. I would go there again without a doubt.
Only thing I say is they should expand the menu a bit more. But that's just me being picky I suppose.
As a regular customer I've always enjoyed their Chinese or fish and chips. Friendly service as well.
Always fresh and tasty and they don't put your food in those polystyrene containers which destroy fish and chips with condensation. They are wrapped just as they should be.

Lovely little fish and chip shop. I always have the curry sauce from here. And now the misses love's it as well, she likes the mini fish.
