Went here for Mother’s Day and for breakfast just the other day and I have to say that both times our meal was beautiful we had plenty choice on the carvery of 3 meats and a good selection of veg and was constantly being topped up with fresh the breakfast was also beautiful with plenty of choice to help yourself too and the cooked breakfast was delicious the service I found both times was quick and extremely helpful and pleasant will definitely be visiting again �
Had a great day today for my little ones 2nd birthday. The staff went to the next level to provide balloons, a birthday ice cream and a cookie when we left. Thank you to all staff who helped �
I had my 75th birthday party on Saturday with lots of my family sharing a very happy evening. The food was excellent as was the venue, and our waitress was lovely and all the staff friendly and helpful. We will be going there again for sure. As an afterthought, the whole place was very clean, and that included the toilets !! An important fact.
Clearly I had a completely different experience to everyone else that has reviewed recently. The place was spotlessly clean including the highchair (which is a rarity) and lovely and warm on a really cold day. Service was spot on. Holly was very attentive and pleasant. Food came within about 10 mins. All absolutely red hot and fresh. Great to see more healthier options for kids too. We had a side of cheese garlic flat bread which was beautiful but definitely too big for 1 person as a side. Water brought to the table immediately was a nice touch as this doesn't usually occur in 'family' type pub/restaurants. Based on this visit I will be returning 100%. (Just as a tip, even though I didn't order one - the cheese and bacon flatbread is served cold) �
Their Sunday morning buffet-style breakfasts are great value for money. With a selection of cereals, pastries, fruit and hot items, you’ll be sure to leave with a full belly. The food was regularly restocked and the areas were maintained and regularly cleaned.
Absolutely amazing all you can eat breakfast. Hot food, continental, cereal, pancakes, muffins and more. With every paying adult you can get 2 kids free. Staff are lovely and met all my needs. Xx
Food was nice but being in a buffet style had to make sure that there was enough for everyone else but you could go back was quite busy at the time but not surprised being breakfast on a Friday good atmosphere as well

Would like to say a special thank you to Charlie who's customer service skills are nothing short of excellent. Although they were extremely busy she was very attentive to all of the diners at her tables. She was polite and professional even when dealing with one customer (who in my opinion as an onlooker from the next table to her) just wanted to complain about anything and everything to try and get a free meal.
Hats off to you Charlie, you're a credit to the company.
Went in for breakfast with work colleagues. The staff member was very welcoming when we entered the restaurant. The place was very nice and clean. The breakfast was freshly cooked and we helped ourselves to fresh juice, coffee and toast. My colleague was a vegetarian and staff made him vegi sausages at his request. The staff member came over to check if everything was ok. Great place, great service, great atmosphere, will be definitely going again. If you haven't tried it, try it you will not be disappointed.
Carvery never disappoints, however the rest of the menu was not available due to issues beyond the staffs control.
Staff always friendly no matter how busy they are.
We come back time after time
Came late on a Sunday evening to celebrate a family birthday. Was promptly seated and although the carvey was shut we had an extensive menu to choose from. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals and we did not have to wait too long. We even treated ourselves to pudding too! Friendly staff, good service and good food!
Went for a family catch up on Saturday evening. Friendly staff and a good waitress. Bit of a wait for the meals but, being Saturday, we weren't too surprised. We all enjoyed our choices so we'll definitely go back
I have been going here for the last 3 years. I have had the breaskfast, carvery and the normal menus. The foods always hot, theres plenty of choice and the staff are very polite and welcoming 🙂. Would definitely recommend

Simple food, served in pleasant surroundings by friendly staff, whats not to like. The food for the price was excellent, I can't wait to go again. The Steak and ale price was lovely !
Great table service by friendly staff. Good selection on the menu and reasonably priced. Particularly impressed with the kids menu, 3 courses for £5.99 with lots of choice
Spent a lovely evening yesterday with friends who were staying next door in the Premier. Service by Charlie was prompt, friendly and attentive. Food was lovely and hot and a very reasonable price. Many thanks, I'm sure we'll be back next time my friends are over from France.
Had Sunday lunch (carvery) with the family and we were all impressed. Good portion sizes, and the food was served hot and perfectly cooked, very tasty indeed. We over indulged with puddings which again were delicious. Good job we had planned to walk home to help the food settle in our contented stomachs! Would highly recommend.
