Went yesterday and had a lovely meal, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The batter on the fish was light and crispy and the chip were tasty. The restaurant itself it modern and clean. Good choice on the menu even for those on a diet with a choice of gluten free batter.
Excellent food and excellent service.best fish and chips I think I've ever had. The batter was perfect and the fish spot on. Wonderful restaurant tastefully decorated. Would highly recommend. Will definitely go back.

Just had another beautiful meal at sea fish resturant and got to say was looked after by a gentleman called James and his customer service was excelliant.I work in a shop myself and i had to tell him cos staff need to know how well they come across to the public.so thankyou James it was a pleasure being looked after by you and nothin was a problem.
Great meal there today for my little girls birthday. The food was lovely and the staff couldn't do enough! We'll definitely be returning �

They advised there could be a delay in the food due to how busy they were. But still managed to exceed our expectation.

We went for the first time yesterday evening and will definitely be returning.
We chose to eat in the restaurant rather than to take our meal home. We had beautiful vegetable soup, which my husband followed by sea bass and chips. I opted for Italian meatballs, which were served with a small salad and mashed potato, all in separate dishes. I had a small glass of the excellent house red with my meal.
The ice-cream which I chose for dessert came in a huge glass, and was as as the rest of the meal had been. delicious. To finish, we each had coffee, again excellent.
The restaurant is clean, friendly, and the service is first-rate. A very pleasant and affordable "dining experience."
I must experience sea an fish at least once a week the food is always good and the staff all seem happy and are very helpful an polite.

Lovely meal, there were 6 adults and 2 children, we just turned up . we explained that we were turned away from the local pub as children had we had out for 7pm. They really looked after us and the food was lovely

Very clean, bright and airy restaurant. Friendly staff, though not enough of them. The service was the only thing to let this visit down.
We were seated immediately, our drinks order wasn't submitted, until another member of staff came to check on us. The main course was lovely, nicely cooked and presented, tasted good. Quality and Quantity fantastic. We ordered chicken breast and the cheese fry triangles (Can't remember the name).
We waited awhile for the waitress to come over after our main, she didn't return with the desert menu. I didn't want to shout across the room for attention, after a good few mins the guy who took the first drinks order came over to check on us, he then brought the menu. The waitress then came over to take our order.
Pudding was tasty again Quality and Quantity were great.
We had to wait awhile to get someone's attention to ask for the bill.
Then had to wait awhile to get them to bring it, so much so I put my coat on ready to go. That got his attention and he brought the bill over.
I didn't wait for them to come back for payment, I went to the bar to pay.
Food Great, I would give 5 stars for that. But they need to get more staff in and try to keep them. Reviews I have read since having eaten there haven't been good and these date back to last year 2017. So there's obviously a problem in retaining staff, which is a pity. It is a nice restaurant.
Update of my last review. Again great food. This time better service and more staff, I really do like coming here. Good sized portions and tasty. Staff are very helpful with customers queries about the menu.
With hearing gossip about this restaurant I went in with little to no expectations but wow I was blown away
The food was so fresh the chips that I thought would be dripping with grease was just lovely not greasy at all..
This restaurant needs more recognition don’t always believe what you hear and go try this place out for yourself.

I am giving a 4 star review because despite the gravy not tasting very nice, everything else was spot on, especially the lovely lady serving and taking orders. She did not hesitate to ensure everything was okay with our meals and when we mentioned the gravy she was quick to correct this and take it off the bill without us even asking and offered free drinks which she didn’t have to do, but it really showed how much she cared! Thank you 😊

Been a few times recently and the staff have been great. Restaurant is only open until 8.30pm so be aware of that. Food is lovely too, very tasty!
We met up with friends for lunch. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Lovely freshly cooked fish dishes. I thought it was just a fish and chip place with dining in but they do so much more. So not a problem if you dont like fish. I had grilled seabass with chips and salad and couldn't finish all the fish. It was perfectly cooked. We will definitely be returning.
It's a chippie, so on that basis, good marks. Not always as good as last week, but really chirpy at the end of service and a top fryer of fish.
I have eaten at the Seafish restaurant twice now, and I liked the double stack burger that much the first time that I had to order it the second time round!
Easily the best burger I've had in a restaurant, (two steak patties in a brioche bun) with the proper chips complementing it very well.
To top it all off, there's a lovely little side salad!
All this for just £8.99!
