Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly staff. I have now been to 5 In Excess stores and l have found this one to be the best for my needs. Best building department. Best view. Best staff.

Amazing place for all your gardening needs, has almost everything you can imagine, plenty of parking space, and the value is incredible. There's also a lovely little cafe that sells delicious food. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed our visit well laid out friendly and efficient staff. Cafe has small outside seating area and is dog friendly. Well worth a visit and prices competitive.

I love this place, it's my go to for anything gardening especially as everywhere else is so expensive for the same thing. So many options at different price ranges. The tearoom is also a welcome break in between exploring.

Good place to shop for DIY tools, household and garden stuff. Really busy when we went and got a few bits. But only one outside wall clock, which wasn't suitable. Otherwise, okay!

Absolutely great place , they basically sell everything well almost everything myself and husband are always up there getting things for our garden, we have in-excess to thank for our lovely garden . lovely people that work there always help you if you need it , and your always served with smile

This garden centre has it all. Whilst I’m taking my time looking at the lovely plant selection, my partner is occupied checking out all the tools and DIY household bits! There’s a great selection of pots, paving and fencing at this garden centre too. Everything seems very fairly priced. Our favourit

The garden centre is fully stocked with everything, and more, that you need for your garden and outdoor living. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the goods are excellent. It really is a hidden gem and well worth a visit. The cafe serves quality, locally sourced and deliciously whole

A very good selection of plants and other things you would find at a garden centre but in a fairly compact space. But lots of other things you would normally find in a hardware store.
