Car park right next to play area and large cafe. Plenty of benches and a toilet block. Really lovely country park with a large play area with great design, not the usual boring generic set up in most parks. We arrived about 10 and it was quiet. After a play we went for a walk to see the cows. There's an enclosure with sand lizards in which was interesting. We found a lovely viewpoint looking over the heathland which was beautiful. We never found the cows we didn't walk far enough, but the walk was lovely. By the time we got back to the park area it was 12 and very busy but still plenty on benches and off went my son again to find new friends to play with while we had a much deserved cold drink from the cafe.

We had a group BBQ meet up here end September. Good venue for outdoor meet up hiring the BBQ. Loads for all to do including sensory with chimes, funny mirrors etc. Well looked after grounds, woods, cafe and toilets. Paying car park.

What a lovely little country park. Nice walking trails, it was a bit muddy on the day that I went but it didn't spoil the adventure. Nice little centre with information about the local wildlife, fun activities for the children. Plenty of picnic tables, it was busy when we were there as it was half term and a sunny day (after a long spell of cold and/or wet weather) but there was adequate seating. Great park for the kids to play on, all on soft ground. A whole day of fun. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, 2 children aged 5 and 8.

It's a really lovely park. Cheaper parking than Moors Valley, which is better if you have a young baby who does not require much to be entertained. They had a lovely sandpit in the shade, which was perfect for the little one to have fun during a hot summer day. We bought an ice cream, one scoop was £2 and it was a generous amount of ice-cream. Which is rare nowadays. The toilet facilities were clean and well maintained. There were several picnic tables, option to do a BBQ as long as you call the site in advance. There was a lovely walk, some bits shaded by the trees. Overall we had a good experience here.

Just by chance we stopped off with the dog and to have coffee and some breakfast. Lovely cafe friendly staff, reasonably priced. Dog 🐶 friendly BIG PLUS. Breakfast very tasty, sausages were lovely and full of flavor. The guy who served us (sadly didn't get his name) was friendly helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Park it's self was lovely and looks great for kids, nice walks for the dog 🐶. Even visitors center is Dog friendly. Will defo visit again. 5 🌟

Massive place with great facilities. We did the high ropes and some water activities. Was really enjoyable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t want to camp there though. It’s directly under the flight path, the planes are so low you can almost see inside the cabin. They have a little coffee shop. Some nice bits of cake but the coffee is terrible. Overall though nice place to go for the day to enjoy the activities, but bring your own food and drinks.

Had a nice walk here with the dogs, went on the longer walk which is approx 3km which goes through the woods and then onto the heath. Underfoot is pretty good especially through the woods and changes to sandy on the heath. There a quite a few tree roots sticking up which you need to be careful of but nothing that you wouldn’t expect for this type of walk. All walks are well sign posted so just keep checking you are heading the correct way when you Come to a post. Came across two look out posts which had nice views of the surrounding area. Parking is paid for at the end by card or cash and it uses ANPR so all you need to do is remember your car registration when you go to pay. Parking was reasonably priced. Didn’t use the cafe so can’t comment on that. Recommend coming for a walk here and walking the dogs.

Been going since I was a child and now take my kids here. Fantastic play areas and excellent forest walks. Cafe has everything you need with a good selection for all. Only gripe I have is with parents that just dump thier kids in the park and sit on their phones so it's up to other parents to tell their kids if they are over the line. But again great place to spend a day at.
