Love the green platter and amazing burger. Can't beat the customer service though - always a warm welcome and super considerate of children and very kind and helpful. Can't recommend enough.
Went for a birthday lunch with friends, food was excellent, staff very friendly and courteous. Would deafly go back again and recommend my other friends.
A wonderfully quirky, vibrant place to hang out with friends or alone for coffee & cake or a meal. Interested, lively staff, tasty menu & good tunes.
Always enjoy it here, never seems too crowded and yet always a great atmosphere and great food, not to mention the best selection of lagers I've ever seen 😂🤣😃
AND . . . the staff are brilliant too, a win win ! 😂
We played the live music (April with Danny T (guitar) and thoroughly enjoyed the occasion. A beautiful venue with very attentive, polite staff. Great atmosphere.
First time at Framptons with some friends for lunch. Very friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Lovely presented food which was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed. Will
definitely be back.
Have always visited Framptons on an evening out in Ringwood , always a great atmosphere with professional friendly polite staff
Would definitely return again!
This was our second visit, last time was breakfast this time was brunch/lunch.
The fish & chips were lovely, the best fish & chips I've had in a long time - my only bit of feedback; there was too much salt put on the outside of this fish when it was served!
The egg on the breakfast bap was cooked perfectly and the sausages are delicious. The bap could probably do with some added cheese or something as it's quite dry!
So many kind words I could write about Framptons. My partner and I were on holiday and it was our very first meal out. We had actually booked somewhere else in Ringwood but when we got there it was vile and we felt uncomfortable and disappointed and we wanted to leave.
I rung Framptons last minute and they went above and beyond to find us a table at 7:30pm on a bank holiday weekend. Although we were at at the back of the restaurant, we still felt welcome, comfortable and we were not forgotten about once. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was fab, and Amanda was absolutely fantastic! She didn’t stop smiling! (She even managed to get me a cocktail made that wasn’t on the menu). The experience we had here was 10/10 and we said we would definitely return if we were in the area 😊
We stopped in for a bite to eat and a drink, the staff were friendly and the place was clean.
The food was good, and the cocktails were great. The only downside was another customers dog kept barking, which became annoying.
Visiting Framptons more often these days for morning coffee or a small late breakfast. I enjoy the Framptons Breakfast - Avocado on sourdough toast with a tomato relish topped with a poached egg & well cooked bacon. Waitress was lovely, service good, food & flat white coffee was perfect.
My only suggestion is that their could be a few comfortable chairs for people with back issues. A few scattered cushions would also be welcome.
rench toast £9.5 Latte £2.8
Lovely atmosphere and friendly service here. Loved the French toast. It was good to pair with crispy bacon and fresh blueberries jam. I especially liked the fresh blueberries jam, really delicious and fresh! And the latte was delicious as well.
Overall, it is a good choice for brunch or breakfast.
My daughter & I recently had breakfast at Framptons after a long break.
Over the years the decor has changed. A few plants or flowers as well as loose cushions & a few more comfortable chairs would entice people back on a more regular basis. Perhaps the aim is to only attract the younger generation.
My small breakfast consisted of Poached egg, tomato & crispy bacon on sourdough toast. It was cooked to perfection, just the way we like it!
My daughter had the same but added a portion of mushrooms to her order. Next time, I'll have avo & add mushrooms.
Eventhough our flat white coffees arrived luke warm, these were replaced by really good, cups of hot coffee
Our friendly, attentive waitress gave us excellent service.
We enjoyed our breakfast more than expected so will definitely return in the near future.
Family and I stopped here to eat tonight.
Not only was the food absolutely delicious and the interior very beautiful but the two ladies that served us absolutely outstanding service to us (even accommodating a special request for my daughter).
I’ve been in the industry for nearly 20 years and these guys are the real deal!
I wish all the very best and well done!
Open for breakfast - and a jolly good one too. Brunch options are amazing and coffee was delicious. We were able to sit in the bar with our dog and loved the relaxed atmosphere. The interiors are super cool - based in the old Admiralty building- huge windows, moody black walls and fab art. Loved it. Will return.
I had the pleasure of being the Coach driver for Framptons yesterday for their day out to Salisbury Races. The Manager Sophie was extremely friendly and helpful and exactly as a good manager should be, making sure her customers had a great time (after 10 years as a bar manager, this is sadly a rarity!).
The customers attending the races were also a delight, so friendly and polite and making me wish I lived nearer to Ringwood to visit Framptons.
There was a spare ticket to the races due to a no-show, so I was invited in with them and, upon dropping them back to Ringwood, I was invited inside the bar. The set up is lovely and definitely worth a visit, I was sad to only be able to have a quick pitstop. I was able to sample their delicious pizza too as they insisted I take a slice for my return journey.
I'd definitely recommend visiting to anyone wanting some lovely food in a bar with a great atmosphere and friendly staff and locals.
Thanks for a great day!

Absolutely delicious burger inside a relaxing, rustic atmosphere. Located in a lovely Bath stone building a stone’s throw from Pulteney bridge. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Expect a good £15 for a meal but they offer special deals on various days. We happened to venture in on a burger Tuesday - £10 for their classic burger and a pint. Would definitely go again.
Great bar in little Ringwood, since the new owners have taken over you can tell the difference. The food is great, service standards are high and it’s a great atmosphere.
What a beautiful plave for brunch! (or lunch or dinner!) Service was superb, drinks and food delicious. Location very central and looks out over the river/weir. Definitely book ahead! Highly recommended.
Went there for breakfast on recommendation of a friend. My wife loved the pancakes and service was fast and friendly. Coffee could be better, mine was basically just frothy milk with no flavour.....

Framptons is widely regarded as the best brunch in Bath, offering everything from breakfast to dinner. The location is very central and overlooks the famous Pulteney Bridge.
I opted for the eggs on toast (£11.50) with smoked salmon. It was delicious, well cooked and made from quality ingredients. I also tried the buttermilk (£8.50) pancakes with greek yoghurt, berry coulis and maple syrup. They were absolutely amazing - not dry at all, the berry coulis was tangy and the the greek yoghurt balanced it perfectly. My friends had the eggs royale (£9.75) and champions breakfast (£9.75). They enjoyed it, however the champions breakfast could have come with 2 poached eggs rather one..
All in all - great food, atmosphere and service.
Love the atmosphere and rustic feel, the chefs know how to cook!!! The pumpkin spice coffee is a must. Thank you to James who looked after us so well and came to our rescue after waiting for service for a while!!!!!
Came to bath on holiday and found this amazing place! The price ranges from £9-£15+ which is quite high compared to other places around here. Having said this, I would still come here again because the quality of the food is super! Also the staff and the interior was spot on too.
