I don't no where to start with this place.... It's an absolutely amazing pub/restaurant! This was our local pub for the week while stopping at the old bridge cottage over the river! We visited the Fish Inn afew times as we had such a good experience each time! The staff are all so friendly and helpful, especially the owner (Judie... I think her name was). The food was excellent, and great quality! 10/10 to the chef!! 👨🍳 The pub has a cosy welcoming atmosphere with plenty of seating, there is also loads of seating outside for the sunny days with a riverside garden!🌞 Stunning views!! I would certainly recommend anyone visiting here when passing!!
Lovely food and staff in a great location by the river, the main road noise isn't really a problem. Friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately they add the service charge on to the meal rather than leave it to you whether or not to leave a tip. Worth a visit
We haven't been here for a, couple of years and whilst in Ringwood thought we'd pay a visit. Great new decor, really colourful, very warm welcome and great food. I had the pie of the week, steak and ale, chips and peas (personal favourites) and it was absolutely delicious and full of meat. Partners mom had the small haddock and chips with minted peas which she wolfed down and was so good to see, my partner had the fishcakes with mango chutney and curry sauce which he described as simply amazing. Mom finished with sat pudding again wolfed down in an instant.
Whenever you're in Ringwood give the fish a try I'm pretty sure you won't leave disappointed
You have to try chefs homemade pies - we had peppered steak and mushroom pie - absolutely delicious 😋😋

This time we went for Sunday lunch, and again food was delicious. I did go off piste and gave roast chicken, chips and peas, my partner went for the stunning tmriastvpirk and all the Sunday trimmings and a side of cauli cheese, mom had a starter of salt and pepper calamari with a side of fries. Jude and the team really know how to look after you, and her husband the chef delivers first class food. Thank you also to Sarah for looking after us and to Edie for being so attentive
Mind the way in is NOT from the motorway but through the nearby town. Large garden and car park, but a bit noisy because of the motorway. Nice surrounding inside and out. The chicken burger was a bit overdone hence hard. The waiters don't seem to know table numbers.
My family live some distance from me so for the second time we met half way. Traveling just over an hour each to meet for lunch at this fantastic pub. Not only is the food 1st class, but the people are tremendous. We were told not to rush take all the time we wanted as we forgot to view the menu as we got caught up talking. The fact I could take my dog in was an added bonus in my book. We will defiantly be back, just wished we lived a bit closer.
A little gem over the bridge! Best steak pie we’ve had in over 20years! Full of meat, lovely Chunky chips and a pot of gravy. The sausage and bubble and squeak were also delicious with lots of onion gravy. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We’ll definitely visit again.
We came here on the off chance about a month ago and were very pleasantly surprised, as hadn’t been in awhile. The staff were lovely and helpful , explained it was a music night and suggested a table in a quiet corner, ( actually was looking forward to listening to the Band but they hadn’t really started by the time we left) the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, offering to close the nearby door if it got too cool etc. As for the food, it was delicious! I had fish cakes( which I’d have again, so tasty) and my husband had good old fish and chips which he thoroughly enjoyed . Lovely old style pub, near the river with an outside garden. Impromptu Friday evening and very enjoyable. Will definitely return.
We stopped by today on our way home. I often order a pub burger and this one was excellent, nicely put together with the right amount of smokiness. My partner ordered the haddock and chips and he was very pleased too.
First time visiting this pub, we relaxed in the pub garden and it was beautiful. Very relaxing. Staff were polite and attentive.
Excellent, could not fault this place from the warm welcome on arrival to the service of the food & drinks. The food was hot & delicious. The staff were attentive & hospitable but not in your face. Always around if you need them but there in the background visibly. With the roadworks on the A31 proving turning off here not as easy as before, it’s well worth going around to get to. I can imagine in the summer with the river flowing past the garden & the outdoor space & huge car park, this is a hit. We will be back for sure. This was a teams lunch & we all enjoyed it very much. I am also a bit fussy on the bathroom area, these toilets were well presented & clean. The log burner was on & it was lovely warm and cosy! Thank you 👏🏻
