The Cellar is a great place ... staff were friendly and accommodating, recommending cheeses for our pregnant friends and wine for our alcoholic ones! Only niggle was, We had a table that wasn’t under/near a fan so was very hot (even with door open) and could probably have done with a fork, but other than that, it was a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon!
Called in for a drink and the atmosphere was so relaxing and friendly we stayed for a bottle of wine and a delicious cheese and meat platter. Lovely, friendly service too. We’ll be back!
Came here Saturday for a pre party bite to eat. I was really impressed. We had the platter for 2 and a bottle of red and tried a few different cheese and meats i hadn't tried before. It was all delicious and i will definitely come back soon��x
Me my wife and 2 boys went in for lunch, food and service was top notch. The lady that served us ( sorry I didn’t ask your name ) went out of her way to make the boys feel welcome even coming up with a new drink to help one of our boys. Really great quirky place ! We will definitely be back if we are around the area.
I would definitely recommend this place to all you cheese lovers, right from the start, what a lovely warm welcome when our food arrived it was really nice to be told which part of the world our cheeses had come from incredible night, would just like to say thank you very much myself and my wife really enjoyed ourselves
Cool little bar with lovely staff, great wine selection (albeit slightly biased towards buying by the bottle understandably) and even managed to make a pork pie look sophisticated, would definitely recommend again

Great idea. Imagine a Tapas bar but based around cheese and wine. But they also do a selection of cured and dried meats with a specials board containing local pork pies. All that and a good selection of wines.
Two of us had the sharing platter that had about 50/50 cheese & meats. Sides of bread and crackers, olives, humus and caramelized onion chutney. All lovely.
Excellent hosting, nice balance between attentive and leaving you alone to enjoy your evening.

Lovely interior , real quirky, was greeted straight away when entering which was nice and the chap there was friendly , didn’t realise it was a wine bar until we actually went in but overall definitely worth a visit.
Had our Valentine's evening here, was outstanding could not fault the food or the service 11/10

Where do I begin? Let's start with front of house. An incredibly friendly and happy welcome with staff willing to make the occasion extra special. The atmosphere is perfect, the music compliments the people in the room. Then we allow ourselves appreciate the food. Oh wow. Anyone can make a cheese board. But no-one can do it this good. The wines were spot on to make the cheeses bounce with flavour and vice versa. There is plenty to look at too. Trinkets everywhere.

Second visit here and yet again has been a fantastic evening, we book early when it is quieter and still does not disappoint, the owner (Emi i believe is his name?) is fabulous and very attentive he is great, will hopefully be back soon 😊
Such a lovely little place, cheese boards are amazing and the strawberry mojito is amazing! The service was the best, such a lovely owners! Very warm and welcoming! Defo be coming back! X

Dropped in for an impromptu lunch and we had the cheese and charcuterie platter. Absolutely delicious-cheeses all came with added little bits to bring out the flavour and add different dimensions. Great selection of biscuits/breads/nuts/fruit and accompaniments. Just a total joy!
