Early morning breakfast. No waiting. Menu has a wonderful selection of food options. Very clean. Staff very polite and friendly. Excellent customer service accompanied with a great breakfast, can’t go wrong. Recommended.
For an airport restaurant we were pleasantly surprised how good the food was.
Initially service let them down as the lady at the entrance was not attentive at all to people queueing. There were lots of empty tables but didn't seem to have the initiative to fill them instead had a separate queue for more than 2 people
Once we were seated our waiting staff were very good. Took our order and food arrived quickly and was delicious
We ordered tuna salad & lasagna
Although expensive for what we got it's kind of expected to pay higher when at an airport.
Fantastic full breakfast, presented beautifully by courteous, attentive staff. Best place for breakfast anywhere in Manchester airports 3 terminals. Pleasant atmosphere - very clean - great staff. Highly recommended
I had one hour for food and thought the place looked lovely and luminous. The staff was friendly, the service efficient and fast, but not rushy. I had spaghetti carbonara, and they were delicious. It really tasted like what I imagine is the Italian way. The cocktail was also excellent.
For an airport restaurant I was really surprised and impressed how good the food was. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The prices are high but worth going.
Overall, I would recommend this place for sure whilst in T2. However, it's better to ho 40 minutes before your flight as it gets busy here sometimes.
The service was amazing, food arrived surprisingly fast even though the restaurant was full, my food was amazing I had pancake stack my god it was the best pancakes I have ever tasted for sure, highly recommend having breakfast here if your at Manchester airport, AMAZING!!!
Very pleasant airport restaurant, served us before 4am which is really good for an early morning flight.
Good vegan options as well.
We got a sausage sandwich, croissant, 2 coffees and porridge for £27 so very reasonable for breakfast and much better quality that other eateries at the airport
Delicious authentic Italian food at a reasonable price for an airport. Very busy but attentive staff. I would recommend.
So busy in T2 I really felt sorry for the staff.. but they all did an amazing job. 100% our lady waitress was amazing. Xx
Surprisingly good for an airport restaurant, relaxing and probably the best I’ve been to in an airport in many years. Could have just been lucky as it was late evening and very quiet. The service was professional, but some room for improvement.

I had the pleasure of being served by Jasmina at San Carlo, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, her warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home. Not only was she attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, but she also went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was unforgettable. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she catered to every request with a smile.
Throughout the meal, Jasmina was attentive without being intrusive, making sure that my glass was always filled and that everything was to my satisfaction. Her efficiency and professionalism were remarkable, as she effortlessly managed the bustling restaurant while still providing personalized service to each table.

Visited here before our flight to Cyprus mid morning. It was busy but we were seated quickly. Service was excellent and the food fantastic. We opted for the full breakfast and the mushrooms on toast. Both were fantastic quality and really tasty. Not unreasonably priced either given it was the airport. We had a few pints of Peroni each which bumped the price up though.
The only snag were the beans on the breakfast which were a little cold. I didn’t say anything at the time or I’m sure they would have reheated them.
All in all, would recommend visiting whilst in T2. You need to have 40 mins spare before your flight though, so bare that in mind.
We have dined at other San Carlo's but not this one before at the Airport. I have to say the food was every bit as good as the other restaurants, and is the best food I've ever eaten at an Airport. Our plane was slightly delayed, but the restaurant staff were keen to ensure that the food was brought out swiftly. All the staff seemed efficient but our waitress called Melissa - was simply the best. Outstanding polite helpful first class service and a credit to the company. Thank You Melissa for getting our holiday off to a great start.
