Third attempt to find a pub with a table at 5.30 on a Saturday evening. Having said that, excellent Harvey's to wash down great homemade steak and ale and salmon. A bit quiet!

had a very good meal, carvery with choice of meats,selection of vegetables,potatoes were rather hard,i expect in oven to long,very enjoyable apple and berry crumble.price we had to pay for a small glass of wine was rather high,
Fantastic meal this evening. Seasonal changing menu, the duck breast and pork belly slices were delicious and very generously sized portions. And the blood orange sorbet was out of this world. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!
We booked a Tuesday lunch and we were delighted. Even though the pub was busy the servers were very attentive and absolutely lovely. We asked for a quiet table, and we were in a smallish side room with just four tables. (We booked in advance)
