We popped in for coffee and lunch after a lively walk round the lakes. Coffee was excellent. We ordered lunch and the wait of about 25 minutes was fine as everything is prepared fresh and worth the wait. We went with two veggie friends who were delighted to find such great choices. I had mezze of salt beef with dill pickle and horseradish yoghurt, and an aubergine, anchovy, pomegranate, yoghurt and crispy barley that was utterly delicious and the home made pitta was to die for. The beetroot salad was amazingly tasty and the squash and barley risotto great too. We couldn't even face the gorgeous cakes on offer. We loved the choice of different chilled water on offer with a donation to a water charity. The staff were all friendly, cheerful and helpful and have a great vibe and ethos. For the large portions and quality we thought it was excellent value too.

Great friendly staff -amazing food and drinks - my only complaint is that the cakes should be kept behind a cigarette style cabinet out of view as I do not have the will power to pass them without purchasing a small collection .

For food that tastes better than home, for cake you've not got time to bake, a donation water hydration station that truly makes a difference and now a shop, tucked around the back, where the kids can grind their own nut butters and you can buy home sourced produce from the farmer up the road. Like like like!

Enjoyed a delicious burger with cheese and bacon jam there today. The beef was lovely and juicy, and slightly pink inside, like it should be. The fries were golden and crispy. My dog loved her sausage roll too. She tried to eat my burger when I went to get napkins, many thanks to the girls on the next table for jumping in and stopping her before it was too late.

Wonderful friendly staff preparing and serving fresh, sustainably sourced and tasty food. Try the lovely light mixed mezze for lunch or treat yourself to a piece of home-baked courgette and lime cake. The team at the Cafe go out of their way to make you feel welcome - including getting to know their long-standing regulars like my 85 year old dad on a first-name basis. A stand-out star of independent eco-friendly food in a world of global brand domination. And their new shop’s great too!!

This cafe is a favourite Rickmansworth staple of mine. The food is quality, well sourced and delicious and served by hard working, friendly staff. Recommend the park salad - very nutritious too!

What a treasure! Delicious home cooked, healthy food which is locally sourced and v.reasonably priced. A great place to take the little ones - you'll feel right at home! Their Wobbly Bottom burgers are legendary - walked off around those beautiful lakes, to feed the ducks, and on to the playground. Lovely staff too. Excellent!

The Good Food Guide is not wrong in calling The Cafe in the Park a 'Local Gem'. Everything about the cafe, the staff the food, the ethos is outstanding. There's always such an upbeat, cheery atmosphere. It's clear to see that the staff love what they do. Today I had a Christmas lunch with a group of friends and it was wonderful. The chefs excelled themselves, the food is always innovative and delicious and huge portions! Someone said to me that you can taste the love in the food. So true.

Lots of seating both inside and outside so you'll be fine for sitting. Staff are prompt, polite and helpful. The food tasty, good portion sizes and they have a good range of beers and even Fairtrade lemonade for the ethically minded. Open quite late and they're not too pushy at the end. The mud cafe out the back is fun for the kids.

Great car park, free and plenty of space to park. The food and coffee is absolutely delicious! Cakes are even more delicious. The service was brilliant! When you place your order, you're asked your name and the waitresses bring your food/drinks to your table. Very kind ,helpful staff. There is an outside seating area as well as the ' queit area' which was great! Lots of lovely woodland to walk around

My expectations for a cafe in a park are normally low. But this cafe really surprised me! Most of their menu is vegan friendly and their dishes quality and taste are incredible. Also worth mentioning the great coffee they make with alpresso beans and oatly milk. Will certainly go back!

A dog friendly cafe in a dog not welcome town. I tried 3 pubs, was turned away. The food was nice, tasty, had the burger and coffee. Would of given 5 stars but dogs only welcome indoors at the rear. Hey at least we're inside.

Awesome vegan and GF menu (and clearly marked), the small plates are pretty filling and really creative. Staff are nice but the whole place is a little chaotic - I struggled to find cutlery and the cold drinks were in a fridge that wasn't on.

Excellent coffee. Good strenght Americano. Taste great, guess fresh roast 100% arabica. Picture is from half way down, when I realized how good the coffee was.

One of the best meals we've had in London in a long time, including as a vegetarian (and my non-vegetarian companion agrees too) and at good value - will be back regularly for more!

Really good food ! Always….! There was a phase when it went a bit too plant based for my liking… but today I ate this gorgeous brekkie made with real butter! And service is always with a smile here! Thank you

Our first time at this cafe ..what can I say ! Lovely, lovely staff. Pleasant , polite and kind .Food and hot drinks good too. Plus I had left my phone on a bench in the park .. went back to hopefully find it . A very kind , honest couple had handed it into the cafe. One of the staff noticed the battery was almost out . The quick thinking member of staff out it on charge. Thoughtful thing to do . The staff answered after my daughter in laws call and handed my phone back to me . Eternally grateful to the kind couple who had the decency to hand it in to the cafe ..and Thanks to the lovely staff for using their initiative to charge the battery up . The lovely afternoon continued , thanks to all. Looking forward to visiting this friendly cafe again soon . Well done staff !!

It was lovely to be able to sit outside and eat with a friend without having to book. Hot drinks were lovely. Food is all vegetarian. Both had mushroom burgers with mixed review. I loved it my friend wasn't so keen - personal taste... but all the food coming out the kitchen looked superb. Prices were reasonable for the food served.
