Really lovely food and brilliant hosting. Enjoyed the visit to this restaurant

Wonderful warm welcome and stunning tasting meals. Excellent balance of spices, great advice given on level of heat. All meats were succulent, vegetables fresh and tender, both cooked to perfection.

We loved our meal here. I had the red curry, my son had green curry and my wife had prawn noodles. When I first saw the curries my heart sank a little because they looked slightly watery but I needn't have worried - they both tasted sensational. Wonderful Thai meal - in fact, the best beef massaman curry we've ever eaten. Staff & Chef were friendly & professional. A real gem of a find whilst holidaying in Richmond, Yorkshire.

We really enjoyed our food here and the team were very warm and welcoming. Pad Thai was very good and very enjoyable. Lots of choice on the menu and the food was elegantly served. A fun a friendly place to go for Thai.

Please be aware when reading reviews for Sunitras - they have been open just under a year. The previous restaurant using the same premises was called Taste of Thailand. Some reviews relate to the previous restaurant ( check the dates) and they retired last year. The restaurant has been very tasteful

Delicious food, great service, perfect location! Had the fish cakes and papaya salad (got some free prawn crackers too) was super well presented, tasty, great spicing, and reasonably priced would highly recommend!! I was on my own and they were super attentive :)

I wasn't sure what to expect given the mixed reviews. The restaurant is tired looking but if you can see past that the food is really good. The service was good, very polite but also trying to help out in the kitchen so I can see why people think it's slow. Our waitress was very attentive otherwise.
