We popped in by chance , had a good family early dinner . The food was full of flavour and a great choice from the menu.
We to go for cocktails. Great idea they where great presentations of the drinks .
If you are looking for a relaxed person restaurant this is worth a visit.

Delicious, fresh, persian food, portions are generous too. 4 of us shared a mixed grill for 2 plus 2 starters and 2 desserts.
It was evening time, so they got fairly busy, and therefore, service was a little slow, but overall, it was a lovely place to have dinner on a Sunday evening after spending the day walking around Richmond Hill.
Thank you for accommodating our group of 14 people yesterday, we had a fabulous time and the food was delicious, 10/10. Worth the money and it came out hot, ready to eat.
Tasty food, friendly attentive staff and very clean restaurant. Had the mixed grill for two, the meat was tender and the rice was cooked just right. Located in central Richmond, near Waitrose which has parking.
Lovely Meal we got number 23, the serving size was perfect and the meat was beautiful. Our waitress was very attentive and very friendly.
Lovely restaurant tucked away in a cellar, just off the High Street. We arrived quite late on a Saturday evening and had a short wait for a table of 5 to become available. Nice atmosphere, food was delicious and the staff really friendly.

Good food but not mindblowing- 8/10. Good portion size. Good service. Easy parking (waitrose) or on road.

Wonderful and delightful restaurant in Richmond. Well removed from the regular bland and formulaic hight street chains, Saffron appeared as an oasis of authentic and well prepared Persian food. There was a good selection of starters and main with the skewers well portioned and skill-fully balanced for texture and flavours. Reasonably priced for Richmond and left feeling full and satisfied ( also with a small doggy bag because they are so generous in their portions!)
