Great Lil restaurant to stop at if you want to enjoy delicious vegan food. I took the chickpea omelette filled with mushrooms, spinach and vegan cheese along with some fresh lettuce on the side and amazing ranch dressing on top. Their omelette is great made of a very thick layer that holds the ingredients beautifully. I also took the "Summer berries" smoothie made of raspberry, strawberry, blueberry, banana and almond milk which was very refreshing & sweet. for dessert, I took the cinnamon bun that unfortunately felt a bit dry. If you ever visit, I advice don't miss out on the chickpea omelette.

We had brunch here and ordered the English breakfast, the chickpea omelette and the sausage sandwich. The food tasted very good and fresh and the mushrooms served with the sandwich were very well done. The coffees and juices were good but we felt the volume of the drinks was quite less for the price. The staff is very friendly and efficient, I would come again, especially to try their baked goods!

Absolutely love their food, it's tasty and refreshing. It's my third visit in 10 days and can't wait to come again. Nice to see their menu keeps changing so you won't be bored. Some cakes are a tad bland but I get it's gluten free and vegan so it's okay. The meatball sub, vegan omelette and brownie are amazing and a must try !

I walk past this place every single day and have wondered why is the place always busy. Today we went to Retreat Kitchen for lunch and I understood why the place is always busy 😃. Being mostly vegans and sometimes lacto- vegetarian this plant based cafe is a blessing. Though most places offer vegan options, my options are always limited. This afternoon I was overwhelmed with options available !! I almost jumped with joy. My husband and I ordered 2 smoothies and a 2 main course. Golden Bliss was true to its name, my husband enjoyed every sip. Portobello Mushroom ,Cheese melt was delicious, combination of melting cheese and mushrooms was fun ! Beetroot Salad with roasted beetroot hummus and quinoa was very colourful and filling. This was a part of special menu. As the cafe was busy , we had to wait 5-10 minutes before our order was taken. Service was good and wasn't too expensive given the quality of food and place. I would definitely want to try everything in their menu.

Ordered the vegan omelette and it was super delicious and filling. The ingredients used were very fresh and chai latte was great too. Wonderful place to stop by for a quiet breakfast.

One of the few vegan cafes in Richmond. Really good food and service. Had the vegan fry-up (scrambled tofu, sausage, baked beans, hash browns). Top notch. Will be back again.

Wonderful, friendly, welcoming staff and atmosphere. So relaxing to be in and super clean. Dog friendly and food allergy friendly! The food has never been less than perfect, all made to order. The pancakes are my go to but I dream about their chickpea omelette often too! Can’t get enough of this place
