We are here on our yearly trip from New Zealand to visit family in Richmond and to make sure the coffee is up to scratch at Butter Beans. So pleased to report things are still right on track and the coffee still superb and the toasted muffin fantastic.

Stunning coffee, and worth the price because of the dedication put into the making of it. The food always looks delicious, especially the bakes, but I'm yet to try them. A very good regular and so much better than the chains if you can get a seat

Best coffee I've had since I was in Australia! The flat whites we're superb and the banana bread was also up there. Can't wait to try out the rest of the menu!

Simply the finest coffee shop in Richmond. Aussie run and it shows - incredible toasted and buttered banana bread accompanied by super tasty small batch coffee

Lovely staff , always smiling, right by the station with obligatory outside seating. Good value for money for this part of london and nice to see staff seemingly content with what they are doing, still feeling like ‘service etiquette’ doesn’t involve standing around talking about weekend plans and prospective partners.

I had walked past this place a couple of times and didn’t pay that much attention, however, after a friends recommendation I tried it out and I was not disappointed! Everyone who works there is super friendly and the veggie breakfast (I chose without eggs) was delicious. I have been multiple times, so have also enjoyed The cheese and veggiemite scone, it was a bit unusual but tasty. Milk alternatives available for coffee and it’s good coffee, note the large coffee is very large! They are following COVID guidelines.

Friendly cafe with outside tables, just turn right out of Richmond station. Enjoyed the halloumi, hash browns and toast. Great menu. Coffee goodish . Great service and atmosphere. The Anzac biscuit was soggy.( the traditional Anzac biscuit is not soggy - the modern version of the Anzac biscuit is thicker and soggy ) . I bought some Tim Tam Australian biscuits for my Australian friend from Queensland. Official Food Hygiene Regulations - Scores On The Doors - they score 4 out of 5.

I really enjoyed the breakfast here. I had a vegetarian breakfast. There seemed to be a bit of confusion regarding gluten free. I was told there was no gluten free bread and then had toast on my plate. Due to being gluten sensitive I didn’t eat it. The food was quick made to my particular specification. They had bunderburg ginger beer which is amazing to have some Ozzie produce. The owner is from New Zealand and is on the ball and friendly. It appeared that there were some new starters who were conscientious and hard working. My partner enjoyed his cappuccino and I loved my chai latte. The cafe is a few strides away from the train/ tube station. Great ambience and a little gem in the heart of Richmond. I would definitely visit again for a lovely breakfast.

In the heart of Richmond near the train station. Had a great cup of coffee a croissant, lovely serve with a nice chilled vibe. Lots of great cakes to choose from all homemade and many of them vegan. Lovely sunny spot in the mornings a great window to watch the world go by.

A great find, such lovely people and super choice of home cooked and baked fare, at realistic prices in contrast to Richmond as a whole! Some furniture & fittings have seen better days but the overall atmosphere more than makes up, no wonder it's popular.

Probably one of the best sausage rolls I've had in ages! They also make pretty impressive chocolate milk-shakes. Charming cafe, full of character. Welcoming and friendly staff. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Absolutely loved this place. The pancakes were delicious and the fact that they could make them dairy free was awesome. Coffee was great, the staff were very friendly and quick, all in all a great experience.

Nice coffee and smoothies. Green machine smoothie was very refreshing and tasty. Brunches were generally good. The veggie breakfast was very good with generous portions, poached eggs with hollandaise and smoked salmon was ok but had too much hollandaise sauce on. Full English breakfast was also really big but the sausages were uncooked so we had to ask them to take it back. Overall it was nice and good value for money.

Great local cafe/bunch spot located right by the station. The staff have been very welcoming each time I have visited. The craft coffee is great and the breakfast/brunch menu is high quality and reasonably priced. A fairly small space but comfortable and cosy. Highly recommended

Great breakfast and delicious real chocolate hot chocolate served by friendly folk. My only annoyance was a neighbour talking far too loudly about her acting ambitions but hey, that’s Richmond for you ;)

Nice cosy place,I love their veggie breakfast. Just delicious and fills you up... they make one of the best coffee in richmond for sure. But they need to find a solution about noise. Sometimes it can be a very noisy place.

Really good selection of pastries. Loved the coffee. They only had Cheese Toast. But I asked them to put in Ham for an extra cost. Reasonable prices and great atmosphere.

Loved it here! Caught up with my friend and the prices are soooo reasonable - honestly the best in Richmond. I got a bespoke breakfast wrap and they were super nice about it and it was £6! The staff were so friendly and nice without being overbearing, I will definitely come back for brunch with friends. Such a find ❤️
