If it happens and you were in Richmond area you have to visit Ole & Steen bakery as it’s known for their wide selection of pastries, It's always nice to try something new. They offer a wide range of freshly baked pastries and breads, as well as cakes, cookies, and other sweet treats. Their menu includes both traditional Danish specialties as well as modern twists on classic recipes. One of the standout features of ole and steen the quality of their baked goods. They use only the finest ingredients and have a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and freshness. Their pastries are flaky and delicious, and their breads have the perfect balance of chewiness and crustiness. It has cozy atmosphere, with a welcoming and friendly staff. Whether you're looking for a quick snack or a place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. Overall, it's a great spot to indulge your sweet tooth and enjoy some top-quality baked goods.

Just a short walk from Richmond train station. Absolutely love this high street chain and its location. Friendly , courteous staff. Busy outlet, but staff kept their cool and remained respectful! The place is packed out during lunchtime but be patient, stand in line and a table would be made available. Lovely atmosphere and clean, beautifully designed interiors.. I had a coffee with a slice of vegan mango cake - which was delicious. My companion had a ham and cheese toastie. They open at 7.30 am so you could actually grab breakfast before going to the station. Crispy bacon with poached eggs & avocado on toast, a must-try

Great customer service from Ollie. He let me know that since they were busy it might take slightly longer than usual to get the order done (which it didn’t, everything was SUPER quick). He was so kind and patient with everyone. Great employee and made the experience so easy and relaxing. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

One of the best coffees in London and a huge selection of breakfast & bakery items to go with it. Everything we have tried so far has been delicious, there’s plenty of seating space spread over two floors and clean toilets too. Price wise its not expensive and staff have always been friendly & courteous. Highly recommended cafe and one we visit frequently.

Danish pastry heaven 🤤 & favourite bakery in London 🤩 The flat white is great and the classic cinnamon slices don’t disappoint. This spot has great window seats on 2 levels with views on to the high street but was so busy today that I ordered to go. Despite the super long queue, the service was very quick and efficient.

I love this place. The cakes are so yummy especially the passionfruit and Berry cakes. Mango passionfruit was also lovely, light and refreshing. The cinnamon rolls are good both original and chocolate. Also consider the Spandauer as well. Its really nice and flaky and the custard isn't overly sweet.

A really good cafe with friendly staff and good service. There is such a large range of delicious food to choose from that it can actually be quite stressful making a decision!

This place is so meta. Not metaverse meta, it's totally in the real world. It amuses me that you can get a Danish pantry at a place with a Danish name. Their pastries are delicious (my favorite is the "Cinnamon Social," but there are many other choices available) and they are very popular, so you may have to wait a bit for a seat. Their coffee is excellent, too. (Also, don't forget to look for available seating on the first floor.)

The customer service is just great, super clean, they actually do clean here each table, super friendly customer service. Everything is fresh air and super tasty. I popped in wanting a break from my hike. And wow are they super helpful and polite. For £6, I got a chocolate cinnamon and a flat white. Did I mention they bake bread and the coffee is just sublime coupled with a mono Dutch or Japanese like aesthetics. Just a great coffee shop.

Reviewing the new Kingston branch which officially opens tomorrow- address is 14-16 Church Street. Today they are giving customers 2 free items each in advance of their official opening tomorrow. I love these bakeries and was first introduced to ‘Lagkagehuset’ in Copenhagen. Amazing rye bread, great coffee, which is hard to find in Kingston and the staff are super friendly.

I ordered Caffe Latte, it was great and tasty! The apple pie was great too but a bit too sweet. The other cake - should be cinnamon was average.

I have been here a few times and I love the social cinnamon slice. One more thing what catch my eyes, is one particular young lady, blond, curly hair, she was brilliant with customers, helping one elderly lady, suggesting and mainly smiling at you :) compare to someone who made my coffee, guess manager, even did bother to look up your eyes and tell you at least, enjoy...working in a hospitality so I can see a lot, good and bad. Always smile, you do not know how you can bright someone's day :)

Excellent hot chocolate and very decent prices, but the strawberry tart was the highlight for me! With marzipan and chocolate in the base it was absolutely delicious!!

Really interesting alfresco bakery and coffee shop in centre of Richmond. Buy a cake and coffee at the counter and find a table. If this is a bit chaotic for you then stay away! Limited unisex toilets on ground floor which weren't particularly clean.
