Lovely spacious room with a countryside view. The room was as good if not better than some 4* hotels I have stayed in. Good WiFi enabling me to get some work done. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. A good menu, nothing fancy, just good tasty pub food at a reasonable price. I had dinner in the bar and also took part in the pub quiz that evening. Friendly locals and a good selection of beers as well. Excellent large cooked breakfast the following morning. Hard to fault the place in any way.

We were on our way out of Richmond looking for a nice Friday night pub meal, and decided to pop to the Holly Hill, heard lots about it but never been x wow staff were amazing, food was really good, I would definitely recommend the humous starter and homemade steak and ale pie, log fire blazing in a cold night and a great atmosphere in the restaurant x well worth a visit peeps x

We've been a few times for drinks, but decided a belated Balentine's meal was in order on Saturday evening. Because of food intolerances I find menu selections a chore, and I hate appearing fussy. No problem, my needs were discussed, food prepared without the "nasties" and delivered piping hot. Attentive, friendly staff and I'm assured the steak and ale pie and chips are worth a return visit.....or multiple return visits. A group of regulars were friendly, and Wacky Jackie's artwork at the back door is perfect! We will be back

Friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Lovely meal for us all, there was 4 of us and we all had something different. Our dog was welcome inside. My husband informed me that it was a good pint too. When in the area again I would definitely visit again. And there is a lovely beer garden in a very sunny spot over looking Richmond castle. Thumbs up from me

This was our first visit this evening to Holly inn and I must say I don’t usually do reviews but tonight’s visit was just so lovely so felt I needed to say so , we were made to feel welcome the minute we walked in and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier . I had my sons dog with us and we were meeting to hand her over back to him as they had been away. They greeted us straight away with a doggy biscuit for her . We will definitely be going back again as the food was amazing and service was fabulous. Well done to all who work there xxxx

Lunch here on a grey & rainy Friday was lovely. Cosy & inviting table near the bar, efficient friendly service & 'ploughman's platter' portions were so generous we took some home :-)

We stayed in Richmond for a weeks holiday and had passed this lovely Inn a few times so decided to book a table here. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food was amazing, tasty and well presented, so much so, we went back another night. If you want real tasty pub food, this is the place. Its also dog friendly. The beer garden has views to die for. We'll definitely go back next time we're up.

Amazing food, really reasonable prices such good quality and large portions. Lovely location with great view from the beer garden. Loved the veggie options. Warmed brie baguette and chips and salad was yummy. We came on a Saturday lunch time for my stepdads birthday and was nice and quiet and very clean! Thankyou!

Never been before called for lunch with the dog. Properly dog friendly. Staff were brilliant being coeliac needed food to be gluten free. Chef and staff checked everything to make sure it was. We both had the chilli which was delicious reasonably priced.

Nice country pub with excellent views over to Richmond castle from the large beer garden at the rear of the pub. Food was great. Only four stars because we didn’t sit inside, so can’t fully comment. Nice hilly walk from the town centre but well worth it for the beautiful scenery.

Finally got round to visiting the Holly Hill since its been taken over! It's been my local for the last 7 years but in the last couple of years since Diana left it went downhill, now it's absolutely fantastic, they've redecorated it beautifully, the food is amazing and the staff are brilliant, lovely meeting you tonight Debbie and now I'll definitely be a regular again xxx

Lovely country pub with inexpensive food & drinks & views to die for. It's worth the hike up the hill or drive up if you don't want any alcohol.

Fabulous hotel. Extremely helpful staff and very accommodating . We made several requests which were not too much trouble for them. This included early breakfast and an additional person to pre booked evening meals The room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely visit this hotel again if in the area.
