Lovely friendly pub. Warm welcome and a really delicious Sunday Roast, plenty of good honest cooking on a plate! Easy to find, and park too

Great place, just off the Scotch Corner. Nice interior, plenty of spaces to sit. The staff are very friendly and helpful regarding the menu. Dead straightforward Sunday Lunch. Plenty of it and tasty too. Staff today pleasant and friendly. Shame planning has been passed for housing on this site.

Lovely pub just off A66, beautiful views, delicious food, friendly service! We stopped by for late Sunday roast before heading south and it was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended!

Overnighted here on my way to Scotland in my campervan. Easy to find and access. The landlord was very welcoming and the pub is pleasant. Can't comment on the food as didn't eat. It's close to the A66 so there is road noise if you have roof vents or windows open. Would stay here again

Came across this fantastic pub on "search for sites" while looking for somewhere to stop on our way up to Scotland in our motorhome. Great little traditional pub. Very good food, massive portions for the roast, friendly staff, just an all round lovely little place. Top marks.
