I place was brilliant, staff were polite and very freindly. They gave us a bowl of water for our dog without needing to be asked. The food was gorgeous, I have never ad such fantastic chips. Would highly recommend. They are not too far from the motorway, so you could go there if you do not like ser
Had fish and chips and they were fantastic, not greasy or soggy. The service by Lewis was good. He's a funny guy and has a good s.o.h. lovely landlady and a good bunch of locals. We will be back! Good ale on tap too!.
Lovely pub, fantastic food and friendly dog loving staff, oh and the beer's not bad either. Not your average pub grub! Chef is extremely good and it was all lovely.
Great meal but spoilt by lack of drink availability as some of the pumps needed changing, and the bar tender / waitress didn't know how to change the barrels, not her fault, would not stop me going again.
We stumbled across this pub whilst on a detour from the A1 due to flooding, and I'm so glad we did. We had a fantastic meal next to an open fire, and the service was great. Highly recommend.
Called in for a cheeky drink after a walk around Scorton and Ellerton Lakes. Friendly bar staff and good service. We sat outside in the sunshine.

A delicious Lunch we both went for Sausage, Mash & Onion Gravy, then for desert Cinnamon & Fruit Cake with Custard and Cappuccino & Amaretto Pavlova. Looking forward to visiting again whilst on holiday in the area

Nothing bad about this place. Just moved around here and made welcome , also dog friendly. Good outside area. If staying around the area call in , you won't be disappointed.
Came to The Farmers as a family for a Sunday roast. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the minute walked into the pub, none of that “this local pub for local people” nonsense you get in other places! We all had a roast which was brilliant, the veg wasn’t boiled to hell
Had a fantastic lunch in this pub garden. Lovely setting overlooking the village green. Friendly staff and brilliant Chef. Our lunches were Rump Steak and Stilton Salad, Buffalo Mozarella and Roasted Peppers Salad and a Cheese Burger. Delicious!
