A recent stay over the Easter weekend, we arrived and we’re met with a friendly approach that continued throughout the stay. A very insightful brief on the hotel and accommodation and we weren’t disappointed, like a few have said the beds are HUGE and the en-suite room was lovely. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh, with more choice to match the majority of visitors taste I’m sure. I would have preferred slightly larger cups in the room but that may be as I like my coffee, they were more than adequate for a standard cup. We’d definitely consider staying again as the proximity to the centre of Richmond is perfect, parking can be an issue but we were lucky enough to park right outside, a very pleasant stay thank you.

We had a lovely stay myself and my partner. On arrival the member off staff on the desk helped us to the car park then met us out there, offering to help with our bags. The room was a good size as was the en-suite. The bed was huuuge!! Great for me and my partner as we are both tall. Located in a good spot close to everything but also quiet. We had a lovely garden view. David was amazing, absolutely brilliant host. Really engaging and made you feel so welcome. Breakfast was delicious and made fresh with quality produce. Would definitely stay again. Big thumbs up from us.

Very friendly hotel in a great location. The host was very helpful and the breakfast excellent. The buildings are very old and full of character however our bathroom was getting ready for a refurb.

Very pleasant stay. Proprietor was very helpful and welcoming. I would strongly advise calling before arrival for parking instructions. Breakfast was excellent with local produce. The room had all the modern comforts but with echoes of the buildings history.

A gem of a hotel. Sadly my stay was just the one Sunday night and the restaurant was closed. The breakfast was perfect, and the Eggs Benedict prepared and cooked true to the original recipe.

Another pleasant stay at this hotel. My work brings me to Richmond frequently and the room is set up with a proper table and chair allowing work to be carried out on a laptop easily. The host is pleasant and friendly.

This is a small private hotel with 9 rooms. Very clean and homey. I liked the friendly service, food, bed and quiet of the environment. Parking is just outside. The location is perfect, could not be better. On a negative side: my room was overlooking the main entrance, I could hear everyone talking due to old windows. Also the street lights are bright and shutters do not block the light. Otherwise it was a comfortable 2-night stay. I would recommend this hotel.

A one night stay in a lovely old building. On street parking just outside fills up quickly but ideal if you can find a space. Good location with just a short walk in to the town centre. Well appointed good sized room with a large comfortable bed. Owner David, nice and friendly. Breakfast was tasty with quality ingredients (the black pudding was especially good) and it's included in price if you book direct with hotel.
