Really nice food and great service. Even better with the London Taste Card discount. Definitely coming back.

One of my favorite places around Kew. A great selection of beers and a fantastic beef burger.

The pulled pork burger is something to behold
At first glance, it’s kind of indecent with all the juices flowing. Picking it up, the bread is a bit mushy.

First bite: mind blown. Firstly, the beef is much better seasoned than before and juicier. It was medium done, but still all the necessary fluids were there. And they mixed with the pulled pork and the BBQ sauce and wow. Great, great, great.

The pulled pork and BBQ sauce gave the experience another level of pleasure. As if it was like that popular book, ’50 shades of pork’ (?). Pun intended.

The fries helped to solidify the meal. A bit on the salty side. Great crunch.

Go there.
Good ambiance.

I really love going to the botanist. It's the perfect place to relax, have a chat with some friends and then have some food. During summer time you can enjoy the little garden on the back. I love the beers too (which are self-produced). Also, if you like burgers then you have to try the cheeseburger with BBQ pulled pork. It's a really good combination! I've had wine too, and it's quite nice. But please try the beers

This is a large modern pub/restaurant with an inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and ample seatings. There were many corner and well placed tables for privacy, and it also has a nice small courtyard with outdoor seatings. The food is pretty average pub grub, nicely presented and competitively priced for the area. We enjoyed our lunch, although the patty in my bacon cheese burger didn't taste, nor looked like beef at all. It was possible that the chef used a vegetarian plant burger patty by mistake, lol, but it tasted nice, so I didn't make an issue of it.

Having spent a lot of time in Kew at the Kew Riverside homes over several years, but I’ve never been here. They redid the place recently. We had Sunday roast and some excellent dessert with an americano. Good menu with traditional food and some extras. Good cocktail and beer selection as well. The view of Kew Green is why you should consider it most

A cool five stars for The Botanist on the southern border of Kew Green. Ice cold beer on a sunny spring day, what more do you need? Great service from lovely engaged staff, all with a smile. I didn't spot any cask ales but plenty from the keg to keep people happy. An exciting lookin menu, time does not allow me to indulge. A delightful venue!

I hosted an event at The Botanist last Saturday for around 15 people. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and even opened the pub early to fit us in. The food was delicious and the service, impeccable. I felt so at ease during the event - the staff were the perfect combination of attentive and easy-going. I will DEFINITELY be back. Thank you so much!

We are visiting from the US and thought it was the perfect day to visit Kew Gardens while here in the UK. After a long day of walking we were starving and walked just a short couple of blocks to the Botanist on Kew Green. We are SO glad that we chose this restaurant to eat at because it was seriously our favorite meal while visiting. Everything tasted absolutely fresh and was beyond delicious. I got the calamari and falafel to snack on as my meal, the calamari was incredible and the falafel was so flavorful. Everyone was beyond kind and welcoming and both my boyfriend and I were really impressed with the quality, portion, and taste! It was also extremely trendy and classy and completely tied into our time in the gardens. Couldn’t have been a better end to our day. We will definitely be coming back here and spreading the word!

Nice relaxed pub, good decor, and food was delicious - right next to Kew Green, and close to Kew Gardens. We though visited between Christmas & NY, and they unfortunately were seriously understaffed on that day, with a poor guy on his first day running the bar and front of house - did require a bit of patience & compassion - kinda all in the festive holiday spirit!

Amazing little pub right next to Kew Gardens. The bartender whipped up a really creative cocktail and was engaging, creative, and super friendly. The kitchen scraped together the last of their food for a Sunday roast despite us being there quite late. Awesome service!

I recently held a small engagement party at The Botanist, and we couldn't have chosen a better place. We ordered a buffet package and drinks package. The food was beyond what we were expecting, really high quality, delicious food! The wine selection was great, and staff were very accommodating and friendly. The decor inside is lovely and has a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Me and my girlfriend have been coming here for over a year now since the refurbishment whenever we visit Kew Gardens and it has got better each time. The food is great. The staff are always super friendly and welcoming. The last time we were served by Anna who was very accommodating. I don't drink anything else but a Guinness and it was very well poured. Will always be back there when I'm back in the area.
