Exceptional. It is so hard to find a good roast in London nowadays and the roast here was incredible, we couldn’t fault a single element. On top of the amazing food was equally as impressive service. Every member of staff was attentive and professional. Highly recommend!
Love what this pub is doing, it's a great upgrade for this bit of Richmond. High quality food and drinks in an atmosphere that is as much French bistro bar as British pub, but feels built for an occasion either way -- be it a real occasion or just a relaxing lunch within earshot of the river. Popped in for an early evening drink. Fantastic staff and excellent cocktails, couldn’t recommend more highly, thank you
Friday night, July 22nd 2022. Had a fabulous night /evening meal at this brilliant pub. Tucked away just off of Brentford high street. Landlord and his young assistant were superb, down to a melody from the landlord on his flute, can thoroughly recommend the Yakisoba ( japanese).and the amazing atm
Fantastic! White tableclothed tables caught my attention on a sunny Saturday especially because of some fabulous looking cocktails. Asked inside if they might have a table for 3. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and said one would be available in just 30 minutes. Came back and was seat
Brilliant Sunday lunch - salt marsh lamb and an excellent wine list. Sides and puddings were delicious too, highly recommend
A delicious cocktail where the expresso in the martini was replaced with maple syrup! A nice place to chat away from shopping in the town centre, but you are only a couple of minutes away. The staff were also friendly and prompt!
Good, attentive service. Excellent wines A good Sunday roast, food not just piled on the plate. Only criticism- the water jugs - buy some nice ones and upgrade your cutlery, a buy cheap. Otherwise good all round.
A charming, near riverside pub in water lane serving good English food and surprisingly Thai. Public and Snug bars, their restaurant and function room is up stairs. Cosy, romantic, and tucked away from the hustle and bushel. Well worth seeking this place out.
A very very good roast, top quality meat and all the components on the plate cooked well. Perfect portion size as well. Only comments would be that the jus was too sticky (reduced too far), give diners steak knives for the roast beef as it was difficult cutting through the fat and lastly the glasswa
Just took my mother there for her birthday and we had a wonderful meal. Excellent moules marinées and such a lovely team of staff. Shout out to the lovely gentleman who made it a great experience.
Once again a very enjoyable meal at The Watermans Richmond. Great service, quiet and pleasant surroundings and excellent service. Good value and quality for money given portion sizes, nicely presented. Great special which my wife thoroughly enjoyed. Already looking forward to next visit.
I haven’t been in since Bill and Mary left, who were fantastic tenants. I have to say I do like the new look and the food looked great. Will come back and try it out for dinner. It’s a shame the last spit and sawdust pub has left Richmond now but I liked what they new owners have done and it’s a fit
Small, neat & unpretentious pub that nails it on just about every front. Chef is evidently passionate and talented. Front of house staff care and take good care. Wine list is well-selected and interesting. Should arguably do more wines by the glass though.
One of my favourite spots to eat in Richmond. Consistently good quality and tasty food, a great wine selection, and friendly staff.
Fantastic staff, lovely roast on a Sunday and so many options of wine. I would highly recommend this place.
