It's a strange thing, I lived down the road from Tap Tavern when it opened up, and I barely went in. I've moved away, but now when visiting I end up gravitating back to this place when in need of a quiet retreat away from the hoards of Ted Lasso tourists. Has the place changed? I doubt it. I was a f
We hosted a small private party at Dropkick Jonny’s - the whiskey bar above the Tap Tavern in September and they were absolutely fantastic.
From the very beginning, Jack and Kirsty were super helpful and organised when communicating the plan and our options, offering buffet menu choices, and even cu
Lovely bar with beautiful outdoor seating! They also show games indoors which is nice! They have some good vegan options (vegan burger and vegan wellington Sunday roast) which is good! The service is also very impeccable - the staff are very friendly :)
Great spot to drink beer - excellent selection of a variety of beers. Drinks are all quite expensive, some above the price of other local places. Food is good, tasty, comes quickly and is hot. Side chips portion is pathetically small however. Staff are always friendly and efficient. Several visits h
Had visited this place with my friends and tried some beer. There are around 16 different varieties of beer to choose from. Have posted few clicks. Thank you!
A lovely and urban pub, 3 minutes away from Richmond Stn, that has an extensive drink menu - local beers on tap, classic cocktails and wine by the bottle and glass.
The service is really friendly though food service was a bit slow. We still enjoyed the food a lot! The food nenu has a great selectio
Really interesting upmarket urban pub in central Richmond with a huge selection of craft beers (17) and gins. You can book a table in advance and we turned up to see ours reserved with times. Beer prices are quite high so watch the bill! Menu was quite limited and we went for fish and chips. Food wa
Nice and easy pub nestled in an alley close to station. Young but happy staff around and really good selection of beers. Food was decent too. I'm pretty sure it gets busier than when I went but really don't mind recommending it even in those busy times.
Beautiful pub with the friendliest staff - Nuno and Katie have been amazing! Also, the best fish and chips I've had in the last few years in London. Highly recommended, can't wait to return.
An excellent craft beer bar, just off a main road in Richmond. Lots of great beers to choose from local breweries like Twickenham and Siren, plus a good menu of burgers etc. We visited on Easter Monday, and there was a BBQ outside cooking fantastic steak sandwiches. Looking forward to returning!
Excellent service, beers, food and all-round good vibes. Can honestly say I’ve never had anything other than a great experience in this pub.
We booked as a group of 4, but someone else joined and the staff were really accommodating. The vegan burger is mind blowing, as is the truffle cheese.
Tasty burgers, amazing Sunday roast and great selection of drinks. Try the bloody/virgin Mary! You won’t be disappointed with their megapint
I visited the Tap Tavern with friends on a Wednesday evening. It was unexpectedly crowded and loud but we had book a table and were promptly seated.
Service was a bit slow ( they may have not expectedsuch a turn up) , and there were issues with the order, but once we got it we all enjoyed our food
Had the mushroom & cashew nut wellington. Great to find a pub that does such a good vegan Sunday roast. It was a generous sized portion and the roast potatoes were really crispy. Very disappointed at the lack of vegan desserts. There were none listed on the menu & when I asked the waitress she said

We’ve spent the day walking round Richmond Park with some friends and stumbled across a nice little craft beer pub just off the high street!
The Rugby was just about to kick off and the atmosphere was brilliant, good options for sitting outside or at the bar - be a
Nice to have a bit of a tap room in Richmond. The Vaults is great, but that is quite seasonal being in a basement and doesn’t open until a bit later in the day.
The beer selection in the Tap Tavern is vast and available in schooners or pints (I think halves too but that’s not quite enough!). It’s a
Great tap room/bar/pub with an extensive selection of craft beers on draft. The beers we tried were all fresh, interesting and tasty. You can certainly see that they selected the beers with care and based on knowledge while trying to offer beers from local breweries (London). The tavern has a really
