Food and atmosphere were amazing. Service was good but they forgot to bring our teas with the afternoon tea menu, which I was not expecting from a place like this. I took my family who was visiting for the afternoon tea and they truly enjoyed it (including two kids aged 9-10). We all got afternoon t
Fabulous experience. The staff were efficient and friendly, the food was excellent, and the menu offered choices that were delightful. Definitely worth making a special day of it and having a nice lunch. Make sure to allow plenty of time to browse all of the garden and home goods shops. Very temptin
I have to admit, I’ve sort of become accustomed to going to restaurants with good reputations expecting to be disappointed- they so often fail to live up the the hype. This absolutely is not the case with Petersham Nursery Restaurant- lunch today was superb. The food was superb - dishes were each a
One of my favourite places in the world! Beautiful decor, lovely staff and the food is delicious. I had a better experience eating here during the week than at the weekend (it was very busy and we had to chase several times).
Petersham Nurseries Restaurant is a romantic place for afternoon fun in Richmond. The food is a bit overpriced, limited choose in the menu, you can only select two courses for £55 or £65 for three courses. vegetable salad fish are quite fresh and cooked to a good standard, highly recommended.
We came here for a weekday lunch, and it was surprisingly busy - always book ahead to avoid disappointment. The location is delightful - a short walk across grassy fields from the Thames - as is the setting, in a bohemianly decorated greenhouse, within the grounds of a gorgeous plant nursery - we al
Beautiful place for a special occasion. Fantastic sommelier! But it can be tricky to get waiter's attention. Food was fresh and really good but it arrived lukewarm to the table. We ordered desserts and cocktails at the same time but received cocktails 15minutes after we had already finished our dess
Anyone who gives anything less than 5 stars to any aspect of this place is a pinnacle hater who will die alone due to being unlovable because of their hate. The food is literally gourmet...with fish fresh from the ocean (which is very rare in London) and all vegetables literally grown on sight in t
Early dinner on a warm Thursday evening. Arrived early to enjoy the quiet hum of the waterfountain surrounded by beautiful plants from the nursery. Incredible menu with fabulous starters, freshest of tomatoes and ricotta, succulent chicken and the fluffiest of cheesecake. Fabulous and friendly serv
Beautiful place to wander through. Lovely pretty space, selling garden and house plants, plus items and gifts for the home. The café & restaurants were extremely overpriced.
A must try in Richmond. The setting is phenomenal. It’s a bit of a paradise you need to find by walking through fields. The atmosphere is rustic but elegant. The cockatails were all excellent. We sampled a wide variety including piscina sour, old fashioned and espresso martinis. The menu is stunni
Dinner for two on a Friday night. An unusual location in a greenhouse with an earth floor. Despite the prices not particularly one to dress up for. The food is as you would expect excellent. Though I have had similar quality for less. We were on the first sitting and initially appreciated the sett
Very nice ambience if you like pants and flowers. It’s a very typical country side feel. The food is ok, tortellini was amazing but beef not so much. The lady at the entrance is exceptionally good. Thank you for looking after us.
I went with a friend for a light lunch, cake and coffee. The cafe was bustling and atmospheric and it felt really special. The food was tasty and the flourless almond and orange cake was delicious as always. Great flat white! Small and strong! Danielle, the manager, and all the staff were completely
Not the cheapest cafe eats (however everything seems to be expensive these days) but they delivered on the quality. Lovely food and serivce was attentive. Had the Welsh rarebit - hot to table and the chutney tasted fab. Was very busy - dont think they take bookings. Would go again.
The food was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is lovely! The place is kinds friendly as well. Highly recommend. But book in advance as there no chance for walking ins.
