First time here whilst visiting sister. Sat in a great window table great vantage point for people watching. Food, service, decor and just absolutely all round everything spot on. Would definitely recommend. The duck salad starter was delicious and the lemon baked alaska device. Even the veg tasted yummy! Lol would love to return hint hint sister.
We had a voucher bought for us as a wedding present. We had a fantastic experience, the meals were ample and very tasty. The service was excellent all staff very helpful, they even moved us to a window table which was no trouble for them. We would certainly recommend it was a most enjoyable evening.
I have been to the Ivy in Covent Garden and to the Richmond Ivy cafe before. The London one is a very different experience but the Richmond one is just right for the area. Great menu, good wine selection and good waiting staff. I agree that some of the tables are too close together but this time there were 4 of us and we were seated at the back which was better. Will certainly be back, as will our friends who hadn’t been before.
Had the Champagne Afternoon Tea, beautifully presented by very professional staff in lovely surroundings, very busy but did not detract from the feeling of a very well run establishment with the correct staff numbers capable of creating a calm atmosphere, well done to all
Amazing breakfast, have been here a couple of times and both occasions was spectacular. Staff very attentive.
Fabulous lunch. Excellent service despite them being fully booked. The host at reception Em was a delight.
Best to book so not to be disappoint.
Set lunch at £16.95 was delicious.

Great venue great food and wine and top service by Jennifer
Lovely and relaxing environment to enjoy a breakfast on a Sunday morning. I had the eggs benedict, and the eggs were cooked perfectly and went well with the shredded ham. My only criticism was that the sauce was a little on the cold side for my liking, and toast was cold, so I couldn't melt the butter. I'm sure if I had raised it with the waitress, they would have been happy to rectify. Overall, it was very good, and I will be back.
The Ivy in Richmond is located conveniently off the main shopping street. 🛍. We parked nearby, on the green ( not literally. 🤣). Plenty of parking on a Wednesday late morning in October. The usual expected decor that all the ivy establishments have. Cosy and unique. We where looked after like royalty. Such wonderful service. Nowhere else is as good in my experience. A delicious 😋 lunch was had. Fabulous experience. 🥳
I come here relatively often and recently had the afternoon tea for the first time. It was okay! Not bad my any means whatsoever but I can’t say it blew me away. My recommendations for improvements would be to have more savory options. The selection had far too many sweet things for me. Also the portion was huge - we could not finish everything.
During previous times I went for dinner. I truly think the ivy is okay. It never stands out in my mind as food I would want to come back for - but if it’s there and I’m hungry I guess I’ll go in. I don’t recommend the Asia menu - I haven’t had anything that was actually spicy or authentic. It all felt like what British people imagine Asian food is. They obviously forgot what real Asian food is from the days of the colonization. The best dish I had here was the scallops as a main but in a different branch. That’s the only thing I would personally get if I am here
I haven't been to this Ivy cafe location in years and I have to say I will return for breakfast. I had a fabulous veggie breakfast. Poached eggs were cooked perfectly (often places don't cook the white fully). The volume of food was too much for me but might not be for others. Great quality and taste.
Oh, mine was also gluten free. 😁
I’ve always been told great things about the Ivy it really didn’t disappoint. Amazing dishes and the truffle fries were mind blowing. We finished dinner with dessert The Kings Crown. Perfect date night and stunning decor 😎😍
Their weekday set menu is extremely good value. 2 or 3 course options. Very nice cocktails.
We had a lovely birthday dinner at The Ivy in Richmond. The service was very attentive and friendly.
The food was very good and we had a lovely cocktail and a bottle of portuguese whine along.
Loved the kids ice cream where they get a tray of sweets to build their own dream ice cream.
Spontaneously decided to finally try Ivy for the first time and we were not disappointed. The food was tasty, ambience and service amazing and attentive. We did not try any of the desserts but to be fair, they looked delicious. Next time! Well done and thank you💫
Great place to visit for a treat. The service was kind and attentive, maybe at times a bit slow but that can be explained away by the busyness of the place. Food- eggs benedict and shepherds pie- was good as expected but for us, service and ambiance stood out. Will visit again.
I took my wife for lunch, lovely cocktails, great bar service, great food service, great food. A fantastic place, so beautiful, amazing decor. My wife told me that the ladies powder room looks amazing. Definitely a place to go and to re-visit for myself.
Thank you "The Ivy Team"
