Welcoming staff, food was fabulous (the best Yorkshire pudding I have ever had). We drove up from Poole and luckily got there at 11.30am without a reservation!! Fortunately we were first in the queue as they reserve a few tables for "walk-in's"!! Sadly no view from garden terrace dining, however, that didn't curtail the wonderful intimate atmosphere!!! White Swan is a great find!

Excellent: a lovely pub but restaurant quality food - the best of both worlds. So pleased they went out of their way to accommodate us when they were fully booked.

Friendly and welcoming ambiance with a fresh tasteful decor in an olde worlde style. Fantastic food and service. Best Halumi Salad I've ever had and the Sticky Toffee Pudding was de-licious. The staff were lovely, very personable and accommodating. Wish I could visit more often.

A lovely old pub, definitely a locals' spot. But when me and my California accent walked in they couldn't have been nicer. I didn't eat, but the ale was great.

I hadn't been in England for a while and I was so looking forward for a good Sunday Roast. We ended up in the White Swan by chance and it was everything I was dreaming of! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food! Next time in London, I will definitely book a table in advance!

Wonderful Sunday roast lunch with all the trimmings in a gorgeous traditional English pub, just off the Thames riverside at Richmond. Food was delicious. Staff friendly and dogs welcome. Very popular; we wouldn’t have got in had we not booked 2 days earlier. Will definitely come back; the burrata starter was utterly amazing with homemade pesto. Want to try the full menu.

Great spot for a Sunday lunch or a pint after a walk on the river. Great choice of ales. Loads of seat at the bank for sunny days. Friendly staff even in a busy Sunday. Sunday lunch great, normal choices but starters where great also. Look forward to heading back

Lovely pub by the river not far from Richmond Lock, which is interesting in itself. Try their sunday roast - always good, well presented platters. Their rib eye steak,, , to die for! We got a warm welcome on arrival from the waitress, she was courteous and friendly. The service was excellent and the food was top notch, great value too! The bulk of their food is cooked on the premises. Check out their desserts, their sticky toffee pudding is awesome. Their chocolate cake with clotted cream and ice cream was one of the best that I have ever had this side of town. Parking is a short distance nearby.. but do check tides timetable!

Really nice pub to hang out in on a beautiful lane in Richmond. Elevated food which we really enjoyed and very generous portion sizes! Super friendly staff.

Pleased with our Sunday Lunch at the White Swan. It's a nice, quiet location in Richmond with a warm atmosphere inside. The only downside is that the conservatory at the back where we were seated definitely feels like a step-down compared to rest of the place. The food was good, I really enjoyed the gin-cured salmon starter. The roast lamb was a little overdone for my taste but not bad and the vegetables were done nicely. My wife had the roast beef which she was also happy with and the parsnips were perfect! Service was initially pretty good but my only gripe is that we were left for about 25 minutes after asking for the bill.

Walked in and was welcomed by some locals and barman Declan playing trivia to pass time. We ended up staying 5 hours and got a local history lesson. We walked out with smiles on our faces and full belly’s. What a great pub experience. Thanks for having us. All staff very attentive. Thanks to Graham and Fox 🦊 some locals that made our day.

The best Sunday Roast I've had since I moved to London! Have been there few times with my girlfriend and recently invited my parents to have a lunch there with me while visiting me in London. We all love this place and will be coming back there every time when in Richmond.

Had a lovely visit to The White Swan in Richmond. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and our server, fresh back from a break, was genuinely friendly. It was heartwarming to see many older locals enjoying their time, either with lunch or a drink. A cozy gem in a beautiful Richmond neighborhood.

Very good food with an original selection of starters and choice of real ales, served quickly and with friendly service. A very pleasant Sunday lunchtime in the garden, would definitely like to come back again to sample the rest of the menu in this well-run and cosy pub in a great location for all the attractions of Richmond.

Richmond's White Swan provides some of the best pub food I have had. Both our mains were very good. My chicken, mushroom and bacon pie was prepared in their kitchen. It was full of the three ingredients and the flavor was wonderful.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting your establishment and must say, it was an exceptional experience. My partner and I enjoyed a delightful evening of fresh oysters and champagne, and we were blown away by the quality of the food and service. The oysters were incredibly fresh and expertly shucked, with a clean and briny flavor that transported us to the seaside. The champagne was perfectly chilled and paired perfectly with the oysters, enhancing their flavor and making for a truly luxurious experience. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. They had a great understanding of the menu and were able to recommend the perfect wine to complement our meal. What impressed me most about The White Swan Pub was the atmosphere. The pub had a warm and inviting ambiance, with beautiful decor and comfortable seating that made us feel at home. The staff also took great care to ensure that we were seated in a quiet and intimate area, allowing us to enjoy our meal and conversation without distractions. I highly recommend The White Swan Pub to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. The fresh oysters, champagne, and attentive service make it a perfect spot for a romantic evening or a special occasion. Thank you for the outstanding experience, and we look forward to visiting again soon.

A great Sunday roast in a quaint traditional pub. A mix of visitors and locals just a stones throw from the river Thames and Richmond Green. The dessert are huge and delicious so save some room. In winter there are open fireplaces so makes the place very cozy on a cold Winters evening.

A lovely pub tucked away from the crowded pubs near the center of Richmond. It's not far from the center but being on a residential road, it feels more homely, inviting and cozy. Both the staff and visitors to the pub were very friendly. We ended talking to people from South Africa and Greece... The food is good too but not cheap. Well worth a visit.

This is one of the first restaurants we visited after moving to Richmond and it was well worth another visit. The roasted onion soup was a wonderful start. The pan fried duck with the green beans and surprise little apricot was why we came back and was still exquisite. The tiramisu was quite good, but the Moscatel was a bit too sweet for our taste (that’s our fault). Just be warned to not sit too close to the back door on the first night the temperature drops into the 40s Fahrenheit (single digits Celsius).

Amazing Sunday roast, we had pork belly, haggis scotch eggs, sticky toffee pudding. Everything was tasty and in large portion. Service was really nice. Booking recommended.
