This little slice of spanish heaven known as "Tilly's authentic spanish cuisine" is situated in north wales rhyl. It's a small establishment with adequate seating for its size. The staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming. The decor is crisp and clean with a neat layout of tables and chairs with a display of exotic animals in tierd vivariums.
Apitiser:
This was seasoned mince stuffed peppers on a bed of seasoned tomato sauce. (Amazing flavour)
Main course:
This was seafood paella cooked to perfection with just the right amount of herbs and seasonings. Again the presentation was super, quick and freshly made. To accompany this was a glass (or 2) of sauvignon blanc. The price is very satisfactory for the extremely good quality of the food.
To end my meal the chef presented me with a double dessert of home baked biscuits with a jam centre, super soft, fluffy, sweet and tasty and also an amazing family recipe soft biscuit type dough meringue with a jam filling. This was a real slice of heaven.
All in all this is a must go to place in rhyl weather your a resident, on holiday or passing through. Top marks all round. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend.
Had a great experience trying out Tilly's menu this evening. Sundried tomatoes with chorizo and chicken was the best! The fresh salad was refreshing! Great home cooked meals!
Loved it, first time we've been there and will definitely be going again.
