Thank you for such a delicious meal last night! The quality of the food was excellent, especially the home made pate which was delicious! The staff were attentive but not intrusive and the whole experience was faultless from start to finish. Would definately recommend you to everyone and can't wait to return again! Compliments to the chef for the wonderful food and to the staff who were very polite and the service was first class.

Just home from Father's Day meal at 1891. Food delicious - I had the haggis and black pudding starter and it was amazing, as was everything else. Service fantastic, staff very friendly and attentive. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone. Well done!

Went for a pre theatre meal. Lovely menu. £21.95 for 3 courses. Food was well presented and staff very attentive. The food was served quickly and hot. Will definitely go again. Views over the beach were beautiful. Hope to go again on Sunday for a roast lunch. Would highly recommend.

Visited tonight and had a lovely experience, although there was a mix up with the booking the staff made sure we were fully catered for. The food was lovely and plentiful. The place is amazing, very modern and we didn't feel like we were in Rhyl! The food and drink was very good value and the staff were very attentive. I will definitely be back soon! It is the nearest eating and drinking place to my work, so I know we will use it a lot! We had the festive menu and am looking forward to trying the normal menu. An excellent addition to the promenade and Rhyl, I wish you well!

For us, only a 15 minute walk away to a lovely new and modern environment offering quality menus with super family friendly service to top it off. Speedy too.. 12 meals out bang! Easy. They've capitalised on Rhyl's USP - the sea view. After eating the menu you have the option of a long stroll down the new promenade - wonderful on a sunny day - or pulling off a 760 on the new skatepark. Keep up the good work and keep those menus fresh! ;-) Highly recommended.

Visited on 29/06/18 (2nd visit) - pre booked and arrived early to enjoy a few cocktails. Cocktails were great and served to us at our table. We were given a meal menu to peruse at our leisure, nice touch. Food was delicious and service was attentive, a little extra touch we thought missing, would be a maître’d to welcome you as you arrive etc, but the staff were great. Will visit again soon.

I recently had the Sunday roast at this establishment, and I must say, it was a disappointment. While I was expecting the gravy to be homemade and flavorful, it unfortunately ruined the entire plate of food. The gravy had a peculiar and off-putting taste that was difficult to identify—is it sour, is it sweet, or has it gone off? This discrepancy made it difficult to enjoy the meal fully. I believe that a well-crafted gravy can significantly enhance the overall dining experience, especially when paired with a Sunday roast. However, in this case, the gravy was a letdown and overshadowed the other components of the dish. I must say, I was quite disappointed with the quality of the gravy. While taste preferences can vary from person to person, I would recommend the establishment to re-evaluate their gravy recipe to ensure consistency and quality. A homemade gravy should be the highlight of a Sunday roast, and it is disheartening when it falls short of expectations. Despite this setback, I must mention that the other elements of the Sunday roast, such as the meat and vegetables, were satisfactory. It is my hope that the establishment takes feedback like this into consideration and makes the necessary improvements to provide a more enjoyable dining experience in the future.

Fantastic venue with lovely views. Sit down, informal, and sofa areas all available. Along with a good-sized dance floor. The food was excellent (portion size too big), drink prices about average, excellent service.

Food was amazing but the service not so much. We were a party of 12 booked in for 7.30 when the place closes at 8 and we definitely felt unwelcome. We weren't asked if we'd like a dessert & when we asked for the dessert menu after half an hour of being ignored the waitress tutted & walked off.

Just attended your Rhyl Airshow event and wanted to say how great the afternoon was. All staff went out of their way to help me and my disabled husband. The food was great and the whole afternoon was very well organised. Had a great day. Thanks from us both.

Fantastic new restaurant in Rhyl. We had a lovely evening. The place is decorated well, very clean and modern. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was exceptional. Wide range of local produce and foods and cooked to a very high standard. I had the scallops to start, which were well flavoured and definitely recommended. One of the guests had treacle tart which was also one of our favourites! This restaurant has a good range of vegetarian dishes which is far away from your boring standard of ‘risotto’ which I find a lot of other restaurants lose points for. Overall very pleased and will definitely come back. Wishing the restaurant all the success!

We went in for Sunday roast and it is really very good. We didn't know but kids eat free including their pudding. Our large generous roast dinners were delicious. It all tasted fresh and made on the kitchen. The yorkshires tasted that slightly caramelised taste you have with home made grub. The toasties, potato gratin, creamy carrot and swede, plenty of extra veg (peas, broccoli, cabbage, sliced carrots and boiled potatoes) It just was really good food, a keen price (without being bargain basement), friendly staff and smart surroundings. Little things like a fresh bottle of tap water brought over unquestioningly and four glasses. It made a change to eat somewhere that is good for kids but also still felt like a treat for us grownups. A big thumbs up.

Visited before going into a show and was absolutely delighted. The views from our table was brilliant and the service was really good. My pate followed by steak was both of a high quality. Definitely a place to visit.
