Cwellyn Arms - Rhyd Ddu - Photo album

We spent two nights in our campervan at the campsite and enjoyed a fantastic meal in the restaurant at the Cwellyn Arms. The food was high quality, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The campsite is fairly basic in terms of facilities but clean and tidy with stunning views and a beautiful lo
Unassuming small village pub with rooms. Do not pass this by, the food and service is spectacular! The menu reads well, but doesn't do it justice, the food really is very very good. Staff are amazing and relaxed, good options for all tastes and dietary requirements too. Definitely worth making a det
We are staying just down the road and went for dinner here last night. We had smoked trout for starter, I had the slow cooked chicken supreme, my partner had the slow cooked lamb. For pudding I had the scone and cream and my other half had raspberry and blackberry roulade. All the food was just co
Absolutely incredible food. We really hadn't expected it to be so good!! Beautifully presented, imaginative menu and delicious. Really generous with the meat as well. Pub is in a lovely location, and we sat down along the river. Only flaw was that the outside seating area did look a bit tired, but t
My friend lives very local and suggested we call in to try out the desserts. I had the homemade sticky toffy pudding and it was out of this world. One of the best I think I've ever had (... And I've had a lot of desserts). The services was super fast despite how busy they were. Would highly recomme
The food at this pub is excellent. One of our party is celiac, and the pub catered for this with most of the items on the menu. Great beer range, including real ales from the local brewery. Friendly service, good atmosphere with superb views of Snowdon. The only downside was no WiFi, especially in a
Didn't stay here but ate some of the finest food I've ever tasted. The menu is really imaginative and Talented Tom really is a most creative chef. The hospitality was fantastic and service quick and en pointe - highly recommend this place for 5 star food.
Stayed near Snowdon and looked for the best local food and stumbled across this place. Quality food and a good pint selection. Touch spenny but well worth it.
Stopped here for an early dinner managing to get the table next to the fire. Lovely food including rump of Welsh lamb, a bacon steak, a cottage pie and a kid's burger (which was the same size, and twice as tasty, as an adult's burger we encountered in a different pub the day before!). Reasonable pri
Fantastic location. Great to be able to have refreshment after a long bike ride, on a sunny day, whilst enjoying a wonderful view of Snowdon.
Decent pub. Didn't try the food as we were camping down the road but had a few beers. Good service, but prices were a little bit to be desired.
We haven't eaten here for some years and we're very pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and pleasant surroundings. Care was obviously being put into everything and the real ale was good. Would definitely recommend stopping and we'll be back.
We had food here and it was nice but fairly expensive. A bowl of chips is nearly £5 and they were only frozen chips. The location is beautiful though
Great pub for a base for Snowdon. Good food and decent beers. Campsite down the road which you pay at the pub for.
Wonderful place for a pint! Great welcome, super food and service with a smile…even on the busiest of evenings.
Had a very nice lunch there. Chicken burger, risotto and chicken curry. All very tasty. Sorry pic is empty plates. But shows how good the food was
