Visited with my family just after opening and almost all tables were reserved (so a good sign). The food was incredible and the portions are very good, so much so that we all had a doggy bag to take home. Reasonably priced for the portion sizes.
It was my first visit after hearing many recommendations and i will certainly be going back. 100% recommended - would suggest booking though because I think we were lucky that they could seat us.
Great food only be twice and both times its been amazing 👏 also a lovely atmosphere there.
Booked for 20 people for birthday celebration, I did pre order meals as we were such a large group. All the food came out together, all hot and totally amazing. Everyone enjoyed not one complaint. Amazing quality, yes it can be deemed more expensive than other places. But the highwayman is all fresh home cooked food and you pay for what you get. 10/10 ❤️ photos of scewers
Been here a few times over the years and it never disappoints, came here yesterdayfor mothers day. Great food at decent value. MEGA portions too which I like lol. I had a mixed grill which came with home made chips, was lovely fairplay. The rest of the family had cooked dinners that looked very nice too. Service was quite fast. Only downside was the waitress who didn't seem very happy at all!
Omg, first time for me and my wife, had the fillet steak kebab, my wife had the chicken kebab. Chilli bed for starters, food was amazing. We where with other friends, all meals were superb.
Fantastic value for money. The quality of the food and portion size are well worth the money.
We had 2 people mention there pasta was too salty and they replaced both meals.
If you like good pub grub and friendly service, get here.
The restaurant is a little bit too loud as we couldn't hear each other talking but the food was phenomenal every portion was huge, and the batter on the onion rings was divine

Amazing!!! The portions are HUGE! And its good quality. Its good wholesome food. Even the kids chicken nuggets arnt out of a freezer bag. They are made here fresh.
The chips are out of this world. Fresh potatoes chipped and fried. Gorgeous
