Always made to feel very welcome here, proper local pub feel and the kids play area is great - definitely recommended.

Excellent family friendly, local pub with a fantastic outdoor area. Inside, the bar offers a great selection of drinks served by welcoming, friendly and attentive staff.
We used the Gate Inn to have my husband's celebrationof life. The food they put on was lovely great atmosphere very friendly staff and land lady. Thank you for making a hard day turn into a very pleasant one.

We stopped over in a motor home. Lovely welcome by staff and landlords. Great beer. No food served but they provided takeaway menus and plates for us to eat our delivered curry in the bar. Will be back
Couldn’t of picked a better place to have my mums 60th birthday party! Their garden was a perfect place for the marquee and it looked amazing!! Lovely traditional pub. We drop in maybe 5-6 times a year when visiting family in the area, and the owners and staff always recognise us and give us a friendly welcome.
