People who give this place less than 5 stars are crazy! Every time we have been here the service is amazing, the food is amazing and the drinks have been amazing. Also great atmosphere and staff are friendly and accomodating! We have visited numerous times and every time it has been outstanding! We went on Saturday (24th March) it was for my husbands birthday, balloons on the table and lovely happy birthday board presented with the famous gelato and strawberry sauce. I love this place so much I have recommended this place to a lot of my friends who have all now been and loved it! The Bulls head Repton is the place to go for quirky, delicious, top quality food and drinks! Spot on 👍🏻5️⃣⭐️
Lovely lunchtime meal in the restaurant. Thai chicken and beef stroganoff both excellent. Eton mess and affogato were great and generous portions. Waiting staff friendly and helpful
What a fantastic place! Booked for my birthday in the garden restaurant. What a beautiful room! The food was incredible and lovely cocktails. Lovely touch with balloons and free birthday dessert board! The staff were also very friendly . Will definitely be coming back again.

Me and my husband made a last min booking today ... got a nice spot in the garden room, lovely food & drinks! I would like to say the girl Emily who served us was lovely, spot on she never missed a thing and made us feel nothing would be to much trouble.She was very polite & attentive. Wow! That is the only word I can find. From start to finish everything was perfect. We were recommended this restaurant so we travelled 1.5 hours. We arrived 15 minutes late but staff were very forgiving. Our server Tilly was fantastic. Starters were beautiful, mains amazing too and the desserts were phenomenal. The cocktail menu was the best I have ever seen, so creative and so many to choose from. The website shows every single menu item, the photography is fantastic.
Even the glasses were served chilled, the tap water bottles were so pretty too. Every small detail was just perfect. Thank you so much, was definitely worth the journey. We will be returning .
Absolutely amazing pub! We came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday… booked the garden room- amazing decor— eating under a blossom tree… wonderful staff and delicious food! Forgot to mention…. great mocktails ( my daughter loved it!) and cocktails too. Generous portions. Fast serving! Will definitely come here again!
Have been twice in 3 days with both family and friends as we were staying in nearby Milton for a week's holiday. I can see why booking is strongly recommended. We went on a Monday and Wednesday in school term time and it was very busy on both days. The food is exceptional. I had a pizza both times. Not for those with a small appetite! On both occasions, it was cooked to perfection. The size is immense. The same size as the menu sheet they give you. Others in our party had food off the normal menu, and this was delicious, too. On both occasions, the service was truly exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. I can understand why this is a 'go to' restaurant for many miles around. Not mentioned the surroundings which are fantastic too.
Been many times. Lovely venue, we enjoy sitting in the garden room the most, great atmosphere. Food is always delicious, big portions, great staff always really friendly and attentive. Never had a bad dish. This and their sister pubs/restaurants are some of our favourites. Highly recommended for special occasions or just a nice meal out.

We usually head to the Joiners Arms as it is more local for us, but ventured out to Repton for a change!
Usual Chilled Pubs quality - can always trust that you'll have a great meal at all of their pubs.

Really impressed. The menu was filled with many different options, the service was quick and efficient and the trees gave the place a lovely and unique feel. My arizona pizza and gooey cookie were delicious as well. Would definitely come back.

Brilliant night, lovely food. We booked to eat in the bar area as I have a fractured ankle. Got excellent table service, l9vely waitress, could not have been better. I would definitely recommend.
We visited here on a Tuesday evening. The food was excellent - the portions were enormous. We had the Camembert, a Pizza and Yakitori Skewers and all were delicious.
The only downside was the service was lacking. Our food kept arriving before the table had been cleared of other plates and glasses, which meant we didn't have room to put anything. This happened three times. Other tables were also taking a long time to be cleared once people left. In saying that, all staff that we interacted with were pleasant.
We'd definitely go back as the food was so good and the venue is beautiful.
Came here to tour the Chilled Pubs and collect one of the Alpaca teddies for our collection. Lovely vibe. Gorgeous building inside and staff great. The order and pay at table is handy if you come in couples and want to split the bill. We all ordered at the same time and some didn't come together but guess that was expected. If that could be fine tuned it would be nicer. We ordered pizza and chips and the chips were basically the starter as they were long gone before the pizza arrived but still lush!
Excellent service. Thai curry was a bit too sweet and was partly refunded (very kindly). The rest of the meal was perfect and included a free birthday treat.
We will be going back!
Amazing food! Amazing service and great location. All members of staff were really helpful and genuinely wanted to help. Our son has a nut allergy and the team were really helpful and great with allergies. This is hard to come by. Would highly recommend a visit.
Went to the restaurant last night and was truly blown away by the quality, quantity and variety of food dishes! Never mind the setting in the garden room which was exceptional. Finally the service we received in what seemed to be a fully booked out sitting was just flawless! The only tragedy is that I live 3 hours away in Kent so my opportunities to visit will be limited! If you're local then I am very envious!
Great family birthday meal for 10. Ten excellent pizzas. With deserts to follow.

WOW !!! What a Gem of a find heard different things about this pub so visited today and was VERY IMPRESSED !! Staff were friendly, a rustic homely feel with the decor plus there is an brick built open pizza oven were you can see your pizzas being made !! Upstairs is like a jungle with a bar is just DEVINE , plus an outside space with large tents and decor which makes it feel like a little camp village. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!!!!!
Couple of people recommended this pub and I’m so glad they did. Atmosphere was fantastic and we were sat in the garden room which was magical. Our waitress (Niamh I believe her name was) was amazing. She was so attentive and kind and she definitely added to the positive experience. The food was amazing and the cocktails were even better!!!! Even the coffees had an added flare. Attention to detail is definitely something they clearly thrive on here. Would definitely go back. 5 stars all around!
Fantastic place to eat.
This is our special place. The one you have for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and so forth.
The staff are brilliant and friendly and the food is exceptional. But pricey but here you get what you pay for.
Great selection of cocktails all delivered in fun and inventive ways.
Would highly recommend.
