The service was welcoming and the staff all worked hard to make the ambiance feel this way. Portion sizes were very reasonable and the food was palatable. I had mussels that were pretty bland and a rigatoni dish that was so spicy, you couldn't taste anything else in the dish. Our family had Pizza that was pretty tasty. However the others that chose the signature Macceroni was left disappointed with the lack of flavors. The ice cream on another note was absolutely outstanding! Everyone loved the ice cream 🍦

Visited without a reservation and it was obvious the restaurant was very busy and staff a little bit stressed. We were told a table would be found and asked to wait. We waited around 20 minutes for a seat and had considered leaving as the wait was long and we felt the staff hadn't been particularly friendly and hadn't updated us with a rough estimate on when we would be fed.
So glad we waited. When a table became available we were seated by the same staff who were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It was obvious they had just been swamped.
We were quickly served and our food also arrived quickly. I had the full rack of ribs. It was amazing. My wife and daughter had pizza and macaroni and they both really enjoyed it. The prices are also extremely reasonable. It was our first visit. But we will definitely return. Atmosphere not rated particularly highly as its just a standard Italian with no music and seated in booths with little interaction with any other guests. That suited us fine there were no issues. Six of us visited at lunchtime today (Thursday) with 3 young adults with special needs for an 18th birthday. I had booked ahead and left a message of our requirements for a wheelchair accessible table.
On arrival a table was ready and a small portable heater was nearby to ensure we were warm enough as it has been pretty cold recently.
The staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating from beginning to end. One of the adults has coeliacs disease and our host went through the menu and gave her a wide range of GF options.
The food came promptly and everything was lovely! Really enjoyed the risotto fungi and the spaghetti bolognese went down a treat. Three of our table had pizza and every bit was devoured!
Afterwards, birthday cake that we had taken was brought out along with some ice cream and coffees and again it was gone in seconds.
When we arrived it was quiet but we didn't mind that. It got busier as we were leaving but we were happy with the atmosphere. When you have people in your group who are hyper sensitive to noise venues that are loud or over crowded can be over bearing for them but Toni Macaroni was just right.
Value for money was excellent. I actually didn't read through the bill fully then on the way home wondered if they'd actually put everything on the bill because it was so reasonable!
We've been here a few times and always leave satisfied but today we were especially pleased. Thank you for making our son's 18th birthday celebration lunch the best possible experience! A+++ all the way.
The food was good. There was a wait from being seated to ordering food. The food was brought out, but no pepper or parmesan was offered for the pasta. When the mains finished, we sat with the plates in front of us for a while. They were eventually removed, and we waited a further to be asked for desserts. It took over 15 mins to receive the dessert. When finished again, plates were left. I had to ask for the bill and then go to the counter to pay. Not the greatest service tonight.
Booked a table here before bowling food was lovely and the portion sizes were impressive and they have a nice selection on both there food and drinks menu staff were friendly and the food was value for money look forward to my next visit
I've been in the area for a course for 2 weeks, after trying a couple of other places I'm glad I found here on day 3, wish I tried day 1. The staff were all lovely and friendly, with a nice welcome each day. Almost felt home.
The food was always amazing, and I tried many things on the menu, never tried pizza but it looked fab.
I wouldn't hesitate to take anyone here for meal, no matter the occasion.

If not been here for years, but ended up visiting twice in a week.
Firstly, it had good COVID protocols.
First time I had calamari for starter which was delicious.
The carbonara was also fantastic.
On the second visit I had soup and a Cajun chicken sandwich... Very tasty!!
The pizza also looked great!!
Thoroughly recommended!!
Went back again recently, and we had a half n half... ie you get 2 halves of any pizza and pasta. The pizza here is absolutely delicious!!!!
I visited this restaurant yesterday, was welcomed at the door, and shown to the table... we were given a ripped seat ( some work needs done on the seating area).
The waitress was polite but in a hurry, it seemed like they couldn't wait for us to leave.
The cutlery was really clean, but when we ordered drinks, I had to ask for a straw, even though the drink was clearly for a child, when we received the dessert cutlery, was only given 1 napkin, even though was given 2 spoons for 2 desserts... some staff training needed.
The macaroni cheese, was hot, plenty of it, and the cheese sauce was very cheese and again plenty of it.
The desserts was chocolate brownie with white sauce and ice cream, the brownie was very heavy and hard to eat.. so most of it was left. The other dessert was knickerbocker glory... which had plenty of ice cream, cream, sauce but not a lot of fruit, was ok for the money.
All in all was a ok visit, and would possibly visit again.
In the eternal battle that is man / woman versus food, last night food was the victor. But at Toni Macaroni 's you can box up what you don't eat and take it home and finish the battle the next day for lunch/ dinner.So that's what we did.
Ya gotta eat here. The pizzas are huge and delicious as were the starters.
We waited and watched dish after dish float by to other tables and everything looked just magic.
Lots of families in enjoying a good dinning experience.
Nice friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Will certainly go back.
Good deal on their Sunday menu. Food was lovely and friendly staff. Would recommend booking though as previously couldn't get a table as it was so busy. Definitely be returning 😋🍽🍺🍹
