Cosy pub with a good atmosphere.
The Sunday roast was of a good size and was tasty.
The apple crumble desert could have had more flavour, and the sticky toffee pudding was a bit overcooked, but overall, it was a good dining experience.

It’s been a while since we have had a Sunday lunch at a pub as frequently they never live up to expectations. I am delighted to say that the lunch today at the Seven Stars was excellent. A lovely country pub and particularly convenient if making the cycle from London to Brighton. Happy with our food and staff made our meal enjoyable. The pub is very accomodating to children and dogs, just a shame there isn't a specific play area for the kids.
Just a lovely country pub, we didn't eat today but will definitely go back. Food looked amazing.
Sunday lunch was good with an ok starter. Service was a little slow, probably due to a busy period or inattentive staff. Voices from other tables was quite audible. All in all not a bad experience despite the above feedback.
A lovely find. Very good atmosphere even though it was quiet. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Food was very good - fresh, hot and tasty. Wish it was our local! Will return.
Lovely country pub with outside seating. Atmosphere inside was ambient. The only thing I think was a negative was the time it took for our food to come out. Food was good.

Good menu. Not too many choices, but with all the common pub grub items. Some specials available, one of which was a "Dirty Vicar" (I think) a dipping cheese sharer.

Lovely surroundings. Friendly staff. The food was absolutely amazing and without doubt on a par with any reputable restaurant (and the Creme Brulee is highly recommended!)
Beautiful character pub with lovely indoor eating environment and nice garden in the summer too. Lovely snack lunch, and I heard others complimenting the chefs on the main meals too.

Gary went out of his way to give my Canadian guests an unforgettable British Pub experience. It has a cozy atmosphere with a fireplace. Dogs welcome. Full of the loveliest, friendly clientele. Big choice of delicious food. The Sunday roasts were lovely. Vegetarian options. Highly recommended.
Lovely place and fantastic Sunday roasts. Only thing I could fault them on was it was a little toasty in there and almost popped my stomach trying to finish my plate 😅
