Lovely classic old English pub. Beautiful inside and out. We went on a Sunday for a roast dinner. The food is amazing, fresh and homemade. Good portion sizes and unlimited gravy. Service was also 5 star. Will be returning.
After living locally for almost two years and everyone always raving about the roasts here we finally had one and it lived up to our expectations.
For £19 for a beef roast it's slightly on the higher end for a roast, but as you get unlimited roast potato's and cauliflower cheese included in the pri
Just awesome, popping in at the weekend with the family. The food is incredible. Chicken nuggets & chips for kids at just £7 but……these are chicken breast battered nuggets with homemade Chucky chips - there are not many pubs left the make there on chips. Just brilliant. Cannot wait to go back for a
Great staff. Great menu. Great beer. Great atmosphere. It's been more than 30 years from when I last visited the Skim, the approach road now has tarmac ;-)
We arrived during a busy Sunday lunch without booking, not surprisingly the inside tables were all booked so we settled ourselves outside. A few
Great hidden gem always busy and a good spot to stop for a drink. Friendly pub frequented by locals and walkers. Nice outside beer garden and cosy inside a good selection of beverages. If you are in the area well worth a visit
A hard-to-find pub, well off the Reigate -> Dorking road (A25). A bit shabby, but with great character. Fine real ales (including locally-brewed ones), good food, great service. What's not to love?
Tucked away and worth a visit. It has everything one needs in a pub with a good selection of drinks, tasty food (I had the American burger) and outside seating. The front outside gets the daytime sun.
Bar staff are friendly and attentive. We'll definitely visit again soon.
We sat outside and had a lovely lunch. Good service and the most enormous home made chicken burgers. Will definitely go back 😀
Great service, food and setting. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. However, could do with a refresh, but this isn't a review point to stop you visiting.
Another super sunday roast served within a friendly country pub.
Excellent menu overall with a choice of Sunday Roast all around£15-£17.
Good selection also for kids from there menu i.e chicken nuggets, fish finger, Ham& Eggs.
Would highly recommend you book a table in advance.
Free parking🍻
Great welcome and super food. Fish pies and steak pie were excellent. Keep up the good work.
Amazing food, great service, lovely place, we visited for a birthday meal, and because our victorian ancestors lived here , we were happy to be able to visit and enjoy the building too as a result of our family tree research , brilliant pub ,5 stars
Just the best. Great atmosphere, the beer and food is top notch and the staff headed by Fabiana are amazing, always feel looked after and nothing too much trouble. The roast dinners are something to shout about
Thanks again, see you all soon
Good pub. Dog friendly. A bit troublesome to get to as the road to it is not desirable. Food is good. Drinks are good too. The back carpark is big.
Travelled up from Devon and came across this pub. Had a delicious meal. First class service and welcoming atmosphere. My husband loved the gluten free fish and chips. Special mention to our waitress cathy who made such a fuss of our dogs
Great food, lovely location and super attentive and friendly staff. We came here with our kids and friends and the staff really made our visit extra special.
