Lovely pub on the river
Lovely Nelson curry and Thai Burger gave our dog some treats, lots of memorabilia on show. Vegetarian meals are available as well.
Moored up and had lunch: great spot on the waterfront, everyone is friendly, and had the half roast chicken with pineapple rice which was delicious. Great pub :)
Great service providing us meals after the kitchen had already shut. Steak and ale pie was awesome. Good pub food and pub atmosphere.
Just a lovely little local pub on the river, you can't go wrong. Food was delicious and fast service, and the staff are so friendly. Sasha the dog also made an appearance and she was absolutely gorgeous!
Brilliant pub with very good food!
Have had food and drinks on multiple occasions. All staff are very friendly and helpful even when extremely busy.
Only suggestion would be to move the dog from around the bar when very busy as was asked to lean through customers drinking at the bar to get my drinks
Lovely friendly pub, great food, the Cajun chicken is amazing, very good at accommodating food allergies, 100% recommend beautiful views 5*****
We visited on a quiet evening in the week and had a lovely meal. We had only been here for a few drinks in the past and never eaten but the menu was extensive and both the kids menu and the main menu had enough of a selection to satisfy our entire group of 6.

Lovely Riverside location and good food at pub prices. Good polite service. We dined outside by the Riverside where we had moored our boat for the evening and without charge. We would visit again if in the area.

Had a fantastic meal the chef happened to come out of the kitchen I said I’m starving Marvin but I said I’m gluten intolerance and wheat intolerance it’s after having cancer treatment not me being fussy ! The chef said do I like a chicken salad with all the trimming and here’s a photo and the staff
Been to so many pubs in the last week for meals and drinks to be made to feel unwelcome however…….. the Lord Nelson totally different!! Very welcoming. Amazing atmosphere lovely people. Recommended with 5+ stars. A must if you pass
Just opened after lockdown #3 so outside table service only however the beer was excellent and the food was very nice. New management who seem friendly and keen to improve the pub.
Nice pub with free moorings, pleasant surroundings with plenty of antique things to view, friendly staff although no food at time of visit as chef off ill.
Lovely outside area by the river, beer is well kept and food is good. Will have to come back when fully open and enjoy the inside as well
