We booked a table in advance, and I'm glad we did. Sunday dinner was bust with plenty of others out to enjoy a family meal with their 'fur babies' The staff are all very pet friendly and give as much attention to the 4 legged as to us humans. The food on both menus (human and doggy) is both a hearty size and very tasty, I recommend the cavery on a Sunday! Booking for a Sunday is highly recommended

We happened upon this wonderful place on our journey back to our holiday home, we received a warm welcome from Amber and was promptly given menus and a lovely spot with clean table. There was more than enough choice with the menu's however, me and the wife both chose the pil pil prawns dish, we were so glad we did, it was out of this world, our son chose the loaded fries and was more than happy. We felt, Not only was the food and drinks outstanding and delicious, the staff, especially Amber, went above and beyond to make our experience here, such a good one Thanks to the team, especially Amber and the kitchen staff for such a wonderful lunch, we won't forget this one in a hurry

We went on a Sunday so it was carvery day, although we when for the burgers and was not disappointed, to much for us to eat really, plenty of pulled pork, bacon and a fab lean burger. A very nice meal also the carvery looked fab and I thought the meals were averagely priced. We both were suffering from our enjoyment the night before so had soft drinks, sadly these were very expensive although I don't usually have soft drinks but £4.80 for a pint of lemonade and lime was excessive. The staff were fantastic and very helpful and I think it's a great pub. I do think that if pubs continue to put up their prices even more people will stop going and there will not be many left for us to enjoy.

We were staying locally and Nathan at the St Day Holiday park recommended the pub. It did not disappoint. The service was amazing and the food was really good. A good choice and a specials board too. I had the sizzling platter and it was excellent.

The staff are amazing, very welcoming and helpful. Very good place for dogs and a pint, but my main let down was the food as nothing stood out that much taste wise. It's quit a broad menu. We came over twice as we were staying close by for a break. There's free parking on site, outdoor seating if you'd prefer and a pool table for a game or 2.

First time here. Saturday lunchtime so it wasn't busy. But it's a big pub with plenty of seating inside and in the large garden,so I guess it could get busy especially in the tourist season. Good range of food and drinks and a special menu for dogs . ! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very well worth a visit.

Went here today with my family and 2 dogs. Very friendly staff and aweaome food. Portion sizes are great and the dogs are welcome inside too (on a lead of course). They have a doggy menu for the pooches and ours had some chicken and rice which was a decent portion size for only £3.50. Everyone made a fuss of the dogs and they loved their food! I highly recommend going here. We will definitely be going back next time we are down country.

Nice little pub. I've been here a few times. Food has always been good, and staff are pleasant enough, but the atmosphere is a bit 'stuffy'. I don't feel you could let your hair down and have a proper knees up here. But if you want a nice meal in quiet surroundings then this place is perfect.

Nice meal, with good service. I felt prices were a bit high for actual meals, I had fish and chips with peas and curry sauce. Fish was lovely, peas were warm in a small cardboard pot, which is what sauces are served in at other places.
