I've been visiting this pub on and off for many years and I'm so pleased it has now reopened and looks in safe hands with Mike and Kerrie at the helm. Good to see it back and looking forward to food again.
We’ve visited this village pub for meals before but this was our first overnight stay. Room was well equipped & a good size. Staff very friendly & helpful. The highlight of the stay was the food. We ate from the a la carte menu which was excellent quality, like you’d get in a good quality restaurant
Very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. 2 humans and 1 dog and all welcomed.
The food was amazing. Good, honest , home-cooked fayre. No relying on the frozen food giants as so many places do. Can't wait to go back again
I didn't stay here so can't comment on the rooms. We called for Sunday Roast and it was fantastic. They were busier than expected and therefore short staffed. However, the only waitress/bar tender/front of house was Daisy. She was calm, professional, friendly and efficient. The floated gracefully b
We stayed for a week in Redmire and visited the Bolton Arms (dog friendly) twice, once for drinks and again for an evening meal. Our party of five were waited on by Jake who was very attentive and a great addition to their team. Food was really good, piping hot and cooked from fresh. Highly recomme
Exceptional hospitality in trying times. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely comfy warm rooms. Great food made with quality local sourced ingredients. Our 2 retrievers were made to feel as welcome as we were. Will most deffinately be back. 😊
Very impressed with the lunch we had on a wet Wednesday. Received a very warm welcome on arrival. Staff were very efficient and in control of a busy restaurant despite the extra pressures due to Covid. Covid regulations were displayed clearly and well controlled, giving us the reassurance that we w
Both myself and my wife found all the staff VERY welcoming friendly people. Very nice rooms and beautiful views surround. The restaurant menu, food and service was F A B U L O U S.
We had a really nice tasty and filling breakfast in the morning which set us up excellently for the day we had ahead of
Great hosts nothing to much, lovely ale well kept. Food very good tasty locally sourced ingredients wherever possible cooked with a passion. Very dog friendly, room warm and comfortable. Will be back for a longer stay!
We stayed here for a few days. The staff couldn't be more friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was great and had everything we needed. The food was amazing. I wish this was my local. Love the place. Highly recommended.
Totally brilliant to find good pubs and pub food. Book before you go. Food excellent and reasonably priced. Definitely go again.
Had another great meal at the pub tonight. Menu very good, food real nice! Service as you would expect. Very pleasing! Why not give them a try. 5 star😊
The food was brilliant we had the Lamb Rump, best tasting lamb we had had in a very long time, the dining area very clean and welcoming, staff were great will definitely be back again .
Stopped off here for a quick drink after visiting Bolton castle and before catching the little white bus (156) from the green back to Leyburn. The staff were very busy due to a private function in the beer garden, but still had the time to chat to us and help with the local knowledge. Very good serv
Although the room could've done with an update the bed and pillows were super comfy. There is a TV and hairdryer. Bathroom was on the small side but everywhere was very clean. Plenty of tea, sugar and coffee along with a seating area outside our room on the balcony to enjoy the views. What really ma
I have been coming here for 15 years. The food and drink were of the usual high standard, very tasty, with good sized portions. However, we had to wait almost an hour for our food and the prices of the food have increased quite a lot. Felt a bit sorry for the staff as they were rushed off their feet
Great location. We really enjoyed our stay. Very welcoming host and staff. Nothing too much trouble.
Loved the breakfasts, cooked to order and the wild mushroom starter on the evening menu is to die for.
A great find we'll definitely be back
Lovely country Coaching Inn, great ale on draught and friendly service. Had breakfast (good produce, tad greasy), lunch (excellent soup and sandwiches) and dinner (mixed bag, a la carte a little overpriced IMO, duck was excellent, lamb rump a bit average). Also stayed in a dog friendly room which wa
We eat at the Bolton arms regularly & have never been disappointed with the food or the service.
The food is excellent with a good choice of dishes.
The Bolton Arms offers a real traditional pub welcome with great food in a relaxed atmosphere.
