What a fantastic place. Beautiful food (get the French Toast!), lovely staff, and just a great vibe sitting directly next to the aerodrome watching all the old rich white dudes fly their microlights and helicopters.
We will absolutely be back again for the cake, which looked like huge slabs of deli
Great place to visit sitting as it does on the apron of the airfield. Usually plenty of activity to watch, light aircraft and helicopters coming and going. Food cooked to order which can mean sometimes there can be delays and at busy times the largely part time student waiting team get somewhat swam
Excellent place, non-commercial but a great location to enjoy Breakfast. Shame that it's closing soon.
Went to Redhill aerodrome cafe this morning and was really surprised. The food was great, nice greasy spoon style breakfast, table spacing outside was good, the staff were really helpful and clear on what you could/ couldn’t do, obviously the view was great as well. They’ve thought it out well for C
Went for a late breakfast/early lunch. Lovely location right next to the taxi way with plenty to watch, food was good, if a little expensive. If its a nice day it gets very busy so aim to arrive early!
A restaurant at Redhill Aerodrome that has lots of memorabilia from a bygone aviation age and is like a pilots mess Hall. Also with lots of old advertising bits from 40's 50's etc. Eat while you wait to fly or after flying. Good food as well. Good portions of food given and prices are a tad on the h
Views are just so amazing and unique! This place is completely hidden away and I highly recommend a visit. Weekdays, breakfast time not very busy but during weekends the place is pretty busy and you have to wait up to 45 mins for your food to be served. Still worth the wait...
In on rainy days not m
Great place, lovey view whilst having a bite to eat and a drink. Not a lot to keep kids amused though, a playground or a soft play area and I am sure people will stay longer and spend more money.
Fantastic spot for breakfast. Food was so good it wasn’t on the plates long enough to take photos. Great service too.
Lovely place for a spot of breakfast/lunch if your lucky you get a fly by of some beautiful old panes like we did! Great food great service. Some days be prepared to queue as its popular on sunny days!
Had a coffee and a bacon sandwich and the staff were really pleasant. A real shame that they are closing soon.
Update 2023 Jan.
Sadly the airfield owner has decided that the Pilots Hub has to go. The reason seems to be that he wants to open his own cafe which will not be airfield facing and therefore only attract onsite staff.
I've said this on other forums but imho this is a sad turn of events for what is a
Amazing fresh food delivered at a fast pace . Friendlly staff and excellent service, not forgetting the beautiful and peaceful views .Will defo return to try the rest of the menu . Highly recommended 5💫
Pleasantly surprised by the breakfast (and scenery) Didn’t get a pic of the avocado aviccii but it’s was amazing. Will come again!
This was a lovely hidden gem I had not known about. A cafe serving various lovely foods (we had brekkie) with a view onto the airfield, watching small planes and helicopters take off and land. Lovely. My friends little boy was also very excited!
One of the best ambience and atmosphere to have a breakfast
Such a beautiful location, friendly staff and dog friendly. Breakfast was delicious. You can't make a reservation so potential for queues on a sunny weekend.
