Not been for ages, the foods great!! You cant beat a Sunday lunch... especially a carvery. Inside had a revamp and is a lovely eccletric decor. I've been all over looking for the best roast beef dinner, as far as having good meat and tasty vegetables, this place gives you that. You can choose from p
Was going to Beefeater by Sainsbury, but couldn't get a table, maybe Harvester, thought about the Barley Mow in Studley, ended up going here, as we've had a Carvery in the past, which is top notch by the way. Well glad we did, cos the breakfast was lovely, all quality items, cooked nicely and well pr
Very busy, would advise booking. Great to see they now so a vegan alternative for the carvery (including gravy!) Service was quick and food hot and fresh. Very reasonably priced, will be back
Came here as a last minute booking. We were visiting family in the Midlands. The best carvery I have ever had, I've had quite a few. The variety of vegetables was a huge tick, the meat was cooked beautifully, the roast potatoes didn't look great but wow they tasted amazing. The chef happily supplied
My friend and I both had carvery. She had beef and turkey, which she said was nice. I had beef and pork, and was good. Yorkie and stuffing were a bit overcooked. Desserts of sticky toffee pudding and raspberry/choc cheesecake went down a treat. Overall a good lunch, and quite reasonably priced.
This was our first visit for breakfast and our first visit for a very long time. We were greeted by staff who were very friendly and the room was very clean and nicely laid out. We had fussy people with us so had 4 breakfasts with 4 variants of the same breakfast. It all came out swiftly and it was
Party of 5 went today for a family catch up meal and drinks. The place was buzzing, very very busy which just goes to show how great the food was. 3 carverys, the steak pie. What can I say, the carvery was amazing, beautifully cooked quality meats and piping hot veg. My wife loved the steak pie and
Good food. Good prices. Nice polite staff. Nice cosy but open plan style pub with relaxed atmosphere. Carvery is very good! Choice of turkey, pork, gammon and beef. All looked great. Turkey and pork were perfectly roasted, the meat was soft and juicy and tasted fantastic! Let down a little by the pi

I was very pleasantly surprised when I took my son and dog here. I had heard good things but when I found out I could take my dog into the bar area I had to visit. The place looks lovely, decor is very welcoming. The girl who served me was really nice and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and t
The food is always lovely when we eat here. The last few times we've collected takeaway carveries via Justeat. These have also been well packaged and just as tasty as eating in.
My birthday with my family.. 16 of us.. loved the cocktails.. good offers, carvery was hot with choice of 2 meats and even lamb.. service was amazing and the food was delicious.. especially the Yorkshire puddings (massive) 10/10 will definitely go back
Nice pub, we went for a carvery just before they finished, so wasn't expecting food to be great or even much left. But tbf it was ok. Mash could be better. But highly recommended the paprika potato. Overall good food 👍
Very easy to book up On arrival all the staff was great a friendly. The price for the carvery was great value and quality was exceptional. It is a very family orientated place so expect it to be loud and full of young children
